Poly Travelocity Rate Question

I previously booked a trip thru Disney Travel from 5/11 - 5/18 for the Poly, with MYW tickets (included free PH and WP upgrade) and the DDP. Now it looks that the room rates through Travelocity are much cheaper than what I am paying with this "package".

Can I cancel with Disney and book room, tickets and dining separtely. Will I lose anything by not booking thru Disney.

Sorry for the confusion, this is our first trip to Disney, so I am learning.

Any help is appreciated.

Call Disney and ask for the May promotion and see if they can apply it to your existing reservation. That is probably what you are seeing on Travelocity. This new promotion came out in the last couple of weeks

If you want a packange with dining you need to book as a package. You can't book room only at discounted rate and then add diding. There is a spring package discount out as mentioned that you may be able to apply to your current reservation.

Thank you so much for the info. I called and asked them if I could possibly switch my reservation from the PH/WP upgrade to the new May Discount and if it would save me any money. Yes and Yes!!! The Disney travel agent switched my reservation and it saved us $375.00. Can't beat that!
