Poly or Wilderness Lodge?

Just sitting here dreaming in case some wonderful discount codes are published. Should my family of five Squeeze into one room at the Polynesian for a couple of nights after our cruise, or should we pay the extra and have two rooms at the Wilderness Lodge?
Any opinions on other favourite Disney hotels would also be appreciated.

Now back to reality.......

My vote is for the Poly. The transportation is superior.
But wait, two rooms vs. one room.
Ok, I switched by vote. I'd take 2 rooms at the WL.

My vote is for the Wilderness Lodge! Although the Polynesian is nice and the monorail is handy, I still like the WL better.

How old are the kids? The Poly has the 0 depth entry pool plus the monorail which is very easy. If you have a stroller the ferry from WL is not a big one and strollers need to be folded. Poly you can watch the fireworks right from the beach and see them very well. Good luck and have fun. YOU WILL LOVE THE CRUISE!!

I vote 2 rooms at WL! We love the Lodge!
OR you could get a deluxe room at WL? That sleeps 6!

Our family of 5 stayed at the Poly with no problem...kids were12, 14, & 16. The Poly's rooms are very big compared to other Disney resorts, and we love the Poly atmosphere, restaurants, and that great monorail access to MK, Epcot!!

Polynesian standard rooms are not much of a squeeze at 450 sq,ft and if you get into the newer longhouses you would have two sinks in the bathroom. It also sleeps 5 and even I fit on the day bed at 6 foot.

don't get two rooms at WL - squeeze into the Poly! The rooms are quite large and the Poly, IMHO, is a FAR SUPERIOR resort than WL. Not to mention more convenient.

WL is beautiful - but in my opinion - a "hyped up" moderate. And far-removed.

That's just my opinion and if you were to ask a WL lover - they might say the same thing about the Poly.

No, PamNC I am a Wilderness Lodge lover and I also love the Poly. I just prefer The Lodge. The Poly for a few days would be nice but if your coming off a cruise you may all need the extra space that two rooms will give you...you may even get two rooms at WL for close to what one room at the Poly may cost.

Either Resort is great.
