poly luau- should I go ahead

Hi- have reservations for tomorrow- 5:30 show. Did the show x2
many years ago with our three kids - now in their 20's. Am here with dd1 and son-in-in law and son. Does anyone have pros or cons? Have to pick up the tics today before e ride if we are going to go ahead.. Also here with husband. Is the new show good- at 5:30 or is it something we should save for another visit- or just go to another $50/person place. post is 6 p on 8/4

what a difficult decision you have to make. I had made a ressie for December. I have read so many negative comments I decided to cancel. Then I thought I should form my own opinion and go anyways, but it is alot of $$ for one night and would have kinda kept us tied to the resort for the day since we planned a rest day for that day. Let us know what you decide.

I agree with you that the reviews are too mixed. We live two hours from the world - as of last fall, and although the show would be of interest, the 22 and 25 yr son and son in law are people who can eat a lot and have both enjoyed Boma. I think it is better to book luau for my husband and me on a weekend night and see what we think. My daughter and I agree that if there were Lilo or Stitch involved it would be another whole decision. thanks susan

I totally agree. If Lilo & Stich were @ the Luau they would have no problems with packing it in every night.

Isn't it funny, we too decided on Boma instead. We have a six year old and he is more of a steak, chicken kinda kid and not the standard kids fare of hotdogs (he hates) chicken fingers, etc. So, I know there will be something he will enjoy as well.

Don't do it. I used to love the old luau, but the new one was more than a little disappointing.
