I love Maelstrom, but I can't express an opinion about a Frozen ride that doesn't even have concept art.
Agree. I'm just sad that I won't get a chance to ride Maelstrom one more time...

The day when the Three Caballeros was added was the day that the Mexican boat ride died a horrible death! The seriousness and overall tone was completely RUINED with utter nonsense from Donald Duck and his friends (family or whatever the heck they are.) The ride went from a pleasant, relaxing boat cruise to a non-stop, ADD adrenaline-inducing cacophonous Disney vision of HELL!
If this Frozen ride is created with as little imagination, attention to detail and overall lack of care as the Little Mermaid ride was, it's highly unlikely we will set foot again in EPCOT. We've had it with the "dumbing down" refurbishments/replacements/eliminations of attractions that we've seen going on in EPCOT for the past 15 years or more. Like a previous poster said, Walt did NOT envision EPCOT to become Magic Kingdom Light!!! Where are the high standards that were originally set??? EPCOT is evolving into a place I'd hoped I'd never see!!!
Frozen is a no brainer. .

I'm completely over the whole Frozen thing. I'm not sure what's making it so popular to begin with, I didn't notice anything spectacular about the movie that set it apart from any of the others
That being said, I have no problem admitting that I'm guilty (as a 28 year old) belting our Let it Go at the top of my lungs (hand gestures included) at numerous rest stops while DH and DBFF looked on in embarrassment...![]()

Without reading through the entire thread:
I wonder why this Frozen ride wasn't put at HS. They could put it in the building that was supposed to be the Monsters, Inc ride. It just seems like the more logical choice.
I do agree with adding a M&G though, the lines for that are just outrageous! I am so glad my DS has no interest in A&E, but I feel for everyone stuck in that line!
If I had to take a guess I'd say this is a way to draw more families with young kids to Epcot and the WS. I hear people all the time say they think Epcot is for older kids and adults. A Frozen ride will be a big draw to those with younger kids and maybe get them into the park when they otherwise might not have given it a second thought.
