Vote for your choice of World Showcase dining!

I am in a quandry about where to dine with DSs, ages 16 and 13 next November. One loooooooooooooves pasta and the other is flexible.

Please consider:
1. quality of the food
2. atmosphere of the dining room
3. service

In the past we have twice enjoyed Chefs de France, an a so-so meal at Restaurant Marakesh. Last trip we did not dine in EPCOT!

What do YOU think? :cool1:

Thanks,
penny

My vote is LeCelleir. We have never had a bad meal there. It has always been wonderful!

Sorry, my vote is a bit biased. I've only done Le Cellier. The food and service was excellent. Definitely one of the best WDW meals we've ever had. We can't wait to go back there!

I tend to avoid Italian places on vacation, so I haven't given Alfredo's a chance yet. I may one day, but not until I try all the other places at WDW first.

I love Le Cellier! Alfredo's was OK but I wasn't overly impressed. I'd vote for Le Cellier any day.

I've been to both. LeCelliers get my vote. Better food and even though it's a busy restaurant it doen't seem as crammed together as Alfredo's.

The servers were polite and professional at both places. Ask the server at LeCellier about Canadian wine. I usually have a glass or two with dinner and they will recommend very good varieties.

I've been to both, and would vote for LeCellier. I enjoyed our meal at Alfredos, and felt the service was equally good, but for the money spent, our portions were larger at LeCellier, and the food quality was just a notch higher. Of course, LeCellier, is our only "must do" for every trip.

Hi,

We are steak eaters so if we are on a short trip and can only fit one dinner at WorldShowcase in then we would go to LeCellier. We enjoy both places very much. It really comes down to what you are in the mood for or like better if you can only do one. You cannot go wrong with either place.

I've eaten at both twice but plan to only return to Le Cellier on future trips. Alfredo's wasn't bad but it's terribly overpriced, especially the pasta dishes. DD has requested Le Cellier (at the ripe old age of almost-5) so that she can get the Chocolate Moose again. I'm sure I'll be sampling some of hers -- yummy!

Easy one...Le Cellier is great!
Run :scared1: as fast as you can away from Alfredos!! UGH!:crazy2:

We really love Le Cellier, great food and atmosphere and always had good service! Alfredo's however, total opposite, bad experience all around.

LeCellier is one of our must do's! The food is excellent, the service is excellent, the ambience is very mellow and relaxing! They have wonderful steaks, but I bet they can come up with a pasta dish for you also!

I'm in the minority. I voted for Alfredo's for dinner. I love the sampler with Fettucine, lasagna and gnocchi. Desserts are awesome too. The atmosphere is fun, and service is also great. I do love the food at LeCellier, but at night the atmosphere would be a little dark. If at all possible, try to go there for lunch on another day. The french dip sandwich is the best I've ever had.

Le Cellier by a long shot for me! We have eaten at both and love LC. Honestly, Olive Garden is way better than Alfredos. If you want Italian I suggest Mama Melroses at MGM.

Filet at LC will melt in your mouth.

Enjoy!

I have only been to LeCellier, but it is so far the best food we have had in all of Disney World. I haven't heard good things about Alfredo's, and if the poll is any indication, I think LeCellier is a no brainer!

We've been to both quite a few times. LeCellier is almost universally loved here on the Dis(and we do enjoy it), but "Fredo's is probably our all time favorite restaurant. We try to make time for both each trip :earsboy:

I am probably a bit biased here. I love steaks and don't care for Italian, so my vote is for LeCellier. My DW and DD who love italian, didn't even care for it.

We will have to give Mama Melrose a try if it is better Italian.

We have never been disappointed at LeCellier. The food is always great.

Alfredo di Roma - My husband won't go back. My daughter likes the young Italian waiters. The food: Sometimes it is good; sometimes it is just so-so. We've decided not to go there on our next trip.

We have eaten at Alfredo's twice and LeCellier once so far. Suffice it to say that we have PS for LeCellier next month and none for Alfredo's. Liked Alfredo's the first time dd and I ate there. So, we took dh when we went back as a family. It was not good. The food was mediocre and the service was abysmal. Nothing negative to say about LeCellier tho. It was wonderful on all counts.
