Point rental?

How do you rent (borrow) points from someone? Is it allowed? My friends and I (there will be 5 of us) are going in May and would like to do this if possible but we dont want to spend a ton of money.

If you go to the DVC rent/trade boards you will find a number of people who are renting their points. Unfortuantely since you have 5 it would probably be cheaper to get two value rooms.for 5 unless one is under 3, you would have to get a 2 bedroom or two studios. It is best to start doing asap, 11 months ahead if possible. good luck.
