So you can pay $179 for a charcuterie board, dessert and champagne with a view of just fireworks over the tree tops but no view of the lagoon . BTW the people not shelling out the $179 get he exact same show but from about 15ft behind you.

It is inside the post-show for Spaceship Earth - the Project Tomorrow area. You can enter from the sides, where you would usually exit after riding SSE.

We would actually snag an afternoon reservation! We want to try a couple of the cocktails. Personally, I don't like to watch fireworks form the inside, so we won't be killing ourselves trying for that one!

I snagged an afternoon (post-lunch) reservation for my solo "mom-cation" next week. Really looking forward to checking it out in person & relaxing for a few minutes that afternoon. My SSE LL aligned perfectly with my reservation, too! Really enjoyed the walk- through video

Disney website shows same menu for both lunch/dinner. If correct, seems like it will mostly be a place to have an expensive drink and a choice of appetizers, not a meal.

I agree with a few of the other posters: this looks like a higher end, modern hotel bar. Neat, but pretty generic. Could also dupe for a nicer airport lounge. My first thought was that it could fit in seamlessly at The Cosmopolitan in Vegas.

Except the cocktails at Cosmo’s Chandelier bar aren’t quite as expensive

I won’t be visiting this place. In part because it does nothing for me, and in part because my wife would be displeased if I snuck out and left her with 2 young ones. Different strokes, different folks.

Yeah - the look is okay, but it could be so much more. I doubt I'll ever be going there myself, though they could probably get me int the door with a few collectible mugs!
