Did I screw up? I wanted a super early ADR at Kona so that we could hit the parks early. But if the buses don't start running until an hour before the parks open (9 for MK and Epcot this particular day) there's no way to get to the Poly at 7:30 is there? Help please! I really want to try the pancakes and pressed coffee! I thought about a cab but if it's $15 or so then that makes the breakfast even more expensive and I was going to pay OOP. TIA!

Take bus to MK then get on monorail to poly. Busses start running very early for breakfast ressies.

I think the first breakfast bus runs to the MK at 715 but you will still not make it by 730. Can you change you ADR to around 8.

We were at POR 2 weeks ago, and I called front desk, was told that breakfast busses start to run at 6am. We were late for a lunch ressie at Kona, and they seated us when we arrived.

I have never seen Kona that busy. We've had ADRs there and we've also walked in for breakfast. And I guarantee it wasn't as early as 7:30.

Also, be sure someone at your table orders Tonga Toast. Yum.

;) Yeah I don't think you have to change your ADR! The breakfast buses run VERY early in the morning. I believe they stop at other resorts along the way. We stayed at POFQ and dined at 'Ohana at about 8:00 and there were buses around 7am. You shouldn't have any problems :thumbsup2

I would not chance a bus, take a cab...it costs about 11 bucks...we did this before and it was so much easier than a bus. Call the front desk from your room the night before and they will have a cab waiting for you in the morning.

Do they have taxis all the time??

Do buses generally start running before the time of the earliest ADR's??
(e.g. let's just say that on July 1st, the earliest ADR's are at 7:30AM, does someone in the bus transportation department know to have buses up and running by 6:30AM so that people CAN make their ADR's in time??)
