POFQ parking

How is the parking lot laid out at this resort? Is it similar to the AS resorts, where there is parking by (almost) every building, or is it more like the Poly or GR, with one central parking lot? If it has a central lot, how far would the walk be from the farthest building (and I have a DS7 and DD5)?

There is parking by every building. All the rooms have outside exits like AS.

We returned 10 days ago.

Buildings 1 -3 are on one side of the food court/reservations area and buildings 4 -7 are on the other side.

We stayed in building 1 (parking lot side) and did not venture over to the 4-7 side, but I assume the set up is similar. There is a large parking lot which runs the length of buildings 1 and 3. So you have a very short walk if you have building 1 or 3 parking lot view. Building 1 and 3 court yard view would be a few steps further - you need to walk around to the front side of the building through any one of many walkways. Building 2 rooms do not have immediate parking lot access - you would need to use the walkways through/around buildings 1 or 3.

The resort is small - the longest walk you would have would be 2 minutes - maybe a couple hundred yards.

fyi - our room was 1st floor - the buildings are 3 floors.

It doesn't have the parking lots labeled, but they are all along the front. So, buildings 6, 5 and 2 are not right next to parking lots. We stayed in building 5 last trip and it was a great location. The resort is so small that you don't need to be RIGHT next to a parking lot. We parked right in front of the main lobby entrance (area marked "Port Orleans Square" on that map), and we'd walk through the lobby and out to the pathway to get to our building. Not a far walk at all.
