I think we're doing the lunch, too. DS companion [mit kinder] is meeting us at WDW post-cruise, and she will be watching her $$.

With a dinner reservation, I know we'll have a table and get fed! I think the place will be a zoo at lunch time - at least for the first few months.

It's interesting that the website lists the same price ranges for both lunch and dinner:
Lunch
Experience:
Special & Unique Dining
Service:
Quick Service
Price Level:
$$ ($15 to $35.99)

Dinner
Experience:
Special & Unique Dining
Service:
A la Carte
Price Level:
$$ ($15 to $35.99)
Hopefully it's just because they haven't finalized the pricing yet...

I hope they will offer the Tables In Wonderland discount for dinner, although we'll eat there regardless.

Our day in MK is 12/5 - I was told that for now - BOG is not showing any reservation availability as it will be closed for grand opening activities on 12/5 and 12/6.

So kudos to you Nancy! You'll have to share your experience.

I know Dec. 6 is the New Fantasyland's Grand Opening, but there's also a MVMCP that night that I might attend. Had I not gotten the Dec. 3 reservation at BOG - I would've checked availability on the 6th before the party.

Paid in full today and within an hour got assigned my gty room number. Booked 9d gty got assigned a 9d, corner room 8006. It is one of theh very large rooms with a slanted ceiling, but it is in the very forward of the ship.

I have a question for anyone who has been on the dream/fantasy. I know they have a beverage station outside cabanas (aft) but do they also have one near flo's and mater's in the forward part of the ship??? If not I will have to buy some big gulp cups to bring for our diet coke addiction :) and probably some for our fridge too.... thanks!

We paid in full today also ;)

On the Fantasy, the drink station is mid-ship. It's aft on the Dream. They moved it more central in the Fantasy 8)

Despite the drink station being moved on the Fantasy, bringing your own larger cup (or even better a HydroFlask) is a good idea. The cups they have at the drink stations are fairly small so you will quickly be back for a refill. :drinking:

thanks :) at least the wait is over! Now just have to start training for the marathon it is going to be to walk around the ship everyday!!! :)

We bring our Tervis tumbler(s) & our Thermoses. Despite that stuff, I still made great use of the cups from our Dreams Unlimited basket in June!!!!!

YAY HydroFlask. Pre-cruise, will be stopping by Welcome Center to pick a couple of DIS ones.

Hope we get those on PCC 4. They look good for coffee and for mixing milkshakes.

I'm hoping Corey will be doing a PCC 4.0 logo or something we can use for printing. Maybe Cafepress will sell some t-shirts. Anyone know if this might happen?

Corey has done a logo for all three previous PCC's so I'm guessing he will do a logo for PCC 4.0 too. However, the logo for 3.0 wasn't available on goods from Cafe Press.

Full!

OK - it's real now...and Saturday I we start reserving "stuff."

This is shaping up as a fun trip - although many WDW trips and several cruises on DCL we will have a handful of new experiences that we are looking forward to enjoying.

As others get to this stage over the next month, I hope you have as much joy in crossing a threshhold as I have.

Not sure if they will have merchandise available from cafe press, but I will vouch for these iron on transfers. Amy is a diser and they are the best transfers! My 2.0 iron on teeshirt still looks like new and I where it to bed a lot :) You just need a printer and a $5 target tee...
