Don't do today what we can put off 'til tomorrow. :teeth: That's gotten me into trouble too many times. :rotfl:

How are you doing, teva?

You all would have been proud of me tonight. There was a fall baseball meeting for Zach's team. When it was over, there were a bunch of fire trucks that went to some town houses near where the field was that we were meeting. After a little while the boys went over there and I went trailing them...my excuse was to make sure they didn't get too close, but I was just being a kid. :rotfl: Nothing much to see, though. Either there wasn't a fire or it was small and we couldn't see anything from the outside. There were at least 6 fire trucks and I was glad to see that it hadn't burned down the row of townhouses. At least the firefighters were prepared. So now the parents know that I'm a big kid (one other parent came too).

I'm doing okay, Tig, thanks.

You aren't fooling us, you know. You were just hoping to see some hot fire men.

How's the plans coming along for the Bar Mitzvah? Man, that's a lot of people you're talking about. Hope you can find enough pasties.

Teva-why are you Not Debbie? :confused3 Did someone call you that in a fit of passion?

No sign of Ty today. There is a 'Spectator' section where you can park and watch, apparently. It's not the Extreme Makeover I want to be on, but I guess I could go and try to see Hot Ty. :woohoo:

On the Ladies only meet thread somebody confused my name with Debbie. Debbie put "Not Denise" in her siggie so I out "Not Debbie" in mine.

Had to change it though. Was confusing the hell out of myself.

:confused3 You started calling yourself "not Debbie"? I think Mom wanted to name you Debbie, but dad and her couldn't agree on the name. He didn't like the name Deborah--thought that the name had to be spelled Debra and he didn't want the word bra in the name. What did it matter if they were giving you up?

I honestly didn't think of firefighters! I am really slipping. :sad2: I did wonder if I would run into Alyssa's ex-boyfriend from last summer/fall who is a firefighter. But why wasn't I looking at the guys?

Not many Bar Mitzvah plans today. My DH is worrying about the wrong things. Invitations are what need to be ordered, but he worries about other things that don't matter. I don't get it, but I shouldn't try to figure him out. :rotfl:

BOMB, I think that teva would be happy for the fit of passion no matter what she happened to be called. Or maybe not. :lmao:

Hey :wave2: ,

How are ya'll doing? My big birthday is coming up this week, the last of the 20's. It seems crazy to me that the last nine years have gone so fast and so many wonderful things have happened. The adventures of the week include a trip to the dentist, we went to the pool this weekend and some crazy little boy jumped right on the top of my head from the steps of the pool- hit me hard enough that my whole right jaw is swollen and I have a huge blister type thing on my gum. It's driving me nuts so I figure I better have it checked out. The first soccer game of the season is on the schedule and I plan on milking the birthday thing all week long- so that's about as exciting as we get around here.

T&B- Please enlightening me about Bar Mitzvahs. I know very little about them and have always been interested in what they are all about.
Briar- Are you getting excited about the upcoming trip?
Teva- Are you going on the ladies trip too? If so now I have a reason to be jealous of you.

I am a morning person!!! DH is a night owl so we balance out :thumbsup2 I also don't drink coffee, 2 diet cokes in the morning is all I need :confused3
Frog, when do you and the Jewel leave to meet Chuck

red, ow on your mouth! What do you want to know about Bar Mitzvahs? I'm not the expert since I converted and the first Bat (for a girl) was my DD's when she turned 13yo. I had no idea how significant it was and how much work went into it. It's not like a First Communion that is done in a group, but at least in our congregation, it is one child leading the service. Some English, some Hebrew (we're reform, so it could be a lot longer and a lot more Hebrew if we were Orthodox). We've been to Conservative ones before and the child had to do very little (might not be the case at all), so were very impressed with what our kids do. Our DD didn't even start preparing until 6th grade, but caught up to speed right away and had it two years later. Our kids all seem to have a knack for it, which they do not get from me (I do read or speak any Hebrew so they could be speaking gibberish and I'd be impressed :rotfl: ). I don't speak any other languages, so they don't get anything from me.

Froggy, I was concerned when I saw your packing list on the other thread and no boxers/whitey tighties were listed. Are you pulling a teva and going commando? :lmao:

Speaking of being a morning person...my alarm went off this morning and I pushed the snooze, saying, "just 5 more minutes". Then it dawned on me that I had it set from yesterday when I had to wake up early to go to the doctor, or at least I thought I did. I had to think through whether or not I had it set for today for some reason. By the time I thought through all that I was awake. :rotfl2: Nothing like waking up early when I didn't have to. DUH!

Today is our wedding anniversary--24 years. Wow, can't believe it's been that long. I'm hardly even that old! :lmao:

Congratulations T&B :cheer2:

Snow, I have only been once and we stayed at the Paris. The view of the tower and the Bellagio water show was awesome!!!! We saw Celine Dion and loved the show :thumbsup2 We also caught a comedian onw night.

Happy Anniversary T&B!!!!!!!!! 24 years and he's not dead? That's gotta be a real accomplishment! It's 5 years for us a week from friday. That's twice what my first marriage was.

Wow T&A!! 24 years is quite an accomplishment. :thumbsup2

Yes, I am getting excited about the upcoming trip. I leave tomorrow! Jellyrolls here I come!
