Thanks for the anniversary wishes! Nope, haven't killed him...yet. :teeth: There's still time and you know I wanted to a couple days ago.

Shug, good news on the dr appt. Just read in the paper that Wellbutin makes a person lose weight. Don't know that that is something that would concern you one way or the other (and don't know the other side effects or how effective it is). The article was in the Wall Street Journal and it was discussing various medications that people use for diet control that aren't really supposed to be diet drugs, such as Topamax that I'm on for migraine prevention (that I like for appetite suppression :) ).

I took Wellbutrin for about 6 months to quit smoking. It actually worked, I haven't had a smoke in 6 months and 4 days! Well, not tobacco anyway :smokin: ;) But I think I'd like to try something different. There are some issues I noticed it didn't help with. I'm learning toward Cymbalta.

Happy Anniversary T&B! You've got me beat by 2 years - hubby and I had our 22nd back in June.

We've got one more full day in Budapest tomorrow, then Thursday DD leaves for the States and hubby and I head to Ireland. We're having a bit of a conflict over how she's getting to the airport - she wants to take a taxi there by herself, and I want hubby and I to take her and put her on the airplane. Her flight leaves about 6 hours before ours does, and everybody else thinks I'm nuts, because it would mean us going to the airport way early, but I don't really care about that. I just don't like the idea of her having to deal with all her luggage and trying to communicate with people who only speak Hungarian for several hours on her own. Also, her cell phone has no international roaming on it, so she wouldn't be able to call us until she lands in New York, which will be about 12 hours after she'd get into the taxi. That just makes me nervous.

I'm probably being an over-protective mother, but I can live with that. However, the decision hasn't been made yet. :confused3

Budapest has been great, not counting being out in that massive storm with the terrified mob the other night. By the way, I found out later that 4 people were killed that night, and 500 were taken to hospital! Most of those were people who were hit by clay tiles that were blown off of rooftops.

I am really looking forward to getting to Ireland, even though that marks the end of our little mid-trip vacation, and we'll have to get back to work when we get there. We'll be leading several seminars for worship bands from local churches, and having lots of meetings.

Hope you're all well.

:rotfl2:

As far as the ride, I love Everest! Not as much as Tower of Terror, but it's my second most favorite WDW ride.

LB, after I read your post about the storm I told my DH about it and then there was a mention on the Today show about it. That must have been so frightening.

imsorry--I was going to say that we'll be celebrating 25 years next August, but I guess that's a bit obvious. :rotfl: If I'm going to sound like I've been drinking maybe I should drink.

Shug, I haven't heard of that medication, other than what I read on your other thread. What are the advantages and side effects?

Oh so you don't want her to say hi to me. FINE. ;)

I've been to Limerick, Ireland. Spent the night after our flight was cancelled out of Shannon.

Hi guys--I am severly out of touch on this thread and don't really have time to catch up, but wanted to drop by and say hi. Briar and Phors, hope you have a good trip! I know it's coming soon. Or are you gone??? Froggy gone yet?? Seems I remember seeing his thread saying he was gone in 48 hrs and that feels like it was awhile ago. I am busy learning new curriculum and worrying that the history program I spent a bundle on is something I could have done on my own. Oooh boy.

Cymbalta? It's new and is being touted as a real breakthrough for those of us who find that depression comes with headaches and stomach aches and intestinal problems. All of which I get in spades when I go through a depressive episode. Have you seen the commercial "Where does depression hurt? Who does depression hurt?" Every time I see it, with the dog sitting at the door with the ball in his mouth and his daddy doesn't want to play I cry. Poor Petey, I'm sure he feels that way lately. Anyway, I'm leaning in that direction. I know the doc will let me try whatever I want so long as there's no reason not to so I'm really researching before I see him.

What are you doing to celebrate today?

:lmao: OK. I wasn't really sure, since I know you'd want me to say hi to Miss Jas, Aidensmom, and Froggy too... :teeth:
