DH just suggested to me that i should go take my shower. I asked him if he had taken his yet and he said no, but his hair dries quicker. :confused3 We're going to stuck in a van driving down the freeway all day long, who cares if my hair is wet or not? :confused3
Do you think this was his way of telling me I shouldn't be DISing? :rotfl2:

Have you looked at the Myrtlewood stuff before in the Roseburg area? There's some beautiful bowls, etc.

Oh, and screw him...you're having fun on the DIS (don't really or you'll both need another shower).

ETA...I'm off to shower and get my day rolling.

You named your GPS Molly? :lmao:

Okie dokie, going to get busy.
Yep, I think that was the voice's name so that's what we called her! She is so much fun!

I'm pretty sure it's Rice Hill. I asume it's open this time of the year and was always a big travel stop for a lot of people driving on I5. Worth a try, at least, and it's right off the freeway. It's about 1/2 way between Eugene and Roseburg. :yay:
Would it be Peggy's Restaurant?

Hi...wanted to fly by and offer gramps a woo hoo

At work, busy, gotta get some jolly on.

Would it be Peggy's Restaurant?
No, it's just an ice cream stand. Here's a blurb that I found on the internet. It's on the west side of the freeway.

A treat for us is to stop at an ice cream place at the Rice Hill exit in Oregon. It's not the nicest looking place, but serves the delicious Umpqua brand ice cream. It's located oat the southern end of the exit on the west side.

My GPS is name Agnes!

My Jolly meter just took a major dip. :furious: I asked DH to do ONE thing for me last night--get the Christmas wrapping paper out of the attic. It would take him 15 mintues to do. Instead he came down with our main wrapping paper box that we keep the birthday and general paper in. He said "Can you just use this? I looked and there is a bunch of Christmas paper in the bottom." I told him I really didn't think there was much of anything anythere and I wanted the whole thing of paper. He rolled his eyes and got huffy and said "I looked and there is stuff in here so can't you just use it until I have more time?"

FINE. He said he looked. I haven't looked in there in a while, maybe there is more Christmas stuff than I remembered. So I just opened it. :headache: 3 rolls of crunched up crappy Christmas paper. One is a Nemo roll that I never liked, one I like okay but I am not wrapping everything in it, and one is some ugly *** cartoon cats that he picked out one year. And I know I have Mickey paper in the Attic and I want to wrap the girls Crocs in that.

I think I am going to drag my but up the stairs and trash his bonus room so I can get to the attic door and get it out myself and leave the mess for him to clean up. And I will make sure it will take way longer than 15 minutes for him to clean up. Maybe next time he will listen to me. :rolleyes1

I am thinking that in the avian world they really disapprove of using the words "Good Gravy" when discussing the birdies. I think the birds find it very offensive due to the unspeakable horrors their cousins have suffered for the last thousands of years because of good gravy (and stuffing and potatos. . . )

:teeth:

You'd be suprised. I cant leave a roast turkey on the counter to cool without the biggest one (my avatar pic) climbing up and going to town. It's one of his favorite foods..

Hi. I love you guys. :grouphug:

Love you too, Paige.

:woohoo: 50 cards signed and addressed waiting for stamps! Now to wrap.....:headache:

 Oops. I just realized I never sent my cards. :headache: It's not too late, right?

Hi friends

I left a little something for you guys over in the CH.

I responded over there, too, but I just wanted to say... what a beautiful gift you've been given, and thank you for sharing it with us.

OK, we are finally leaving at 9:30! DH wants to get to Sacramento tonight. :scared1: He thinks it's 12 hours! I'll check in when I can! You can all text me! My cell phone number is in the CH! I promise I'll be safe and try not and kill the family on the drive! :lmao:

OK, we'll find it!

Text or call me, Caro! Other than my neuro appt that I'll be at in an hour, I should be around, for the most part. Practice safe driving...always use seatbelts. ;)
