Or triple in my current state or quadruple when Alyssa was still home. Seriously, I wouldn't change it, but man oh man sometimes it's hectic!

I was reading the labels on the xanax bottle and it says to discuss with your Dr. before eating grapefruit or drinking grapefruit juice. Whats the deal with that? It also says to take 30-60 minutes prior to the flight. Does it take that long to kick in?

4's, I'm not supposed to have grapefruit/juice with one of my meds, either. I think it's my buspar (anti-anxiety). I don't remember why, but I will eat a little grapefruit if I want to, but I wouldn't drink a lot of juice.

I would say mine (not xanax but the same type anti-anxiety) takes about 20-30. If you need it to work faster put it under your tongue and let it melt.

I take mine when they call for boarding, so about 20-30 minutes before take off. It works! I digest fast though! Have you tried the pill yet?? I would say take it 30-45 before your flight. One hour is too early IMO! If you are super anxious though, then go ahead and take it. You could get up and walk around, try to distract yourself some too to waste a little time..that is what I do. I don't want to take it too early. But then again, I am always pretty relaxed and happy the rest of the day too, so not sure when it really wears off.

Take awhile for the xanax to kick in for me--30-60 would be a good estimate, but I would guess closer to 60 for me. Your mileage may vary.

Back from picking up Ben now I need to get a couple more things done around the house. I think that Jake is fine for swimming tonight, however DH was asking me what I'm planning on doing about the swimming tonight. The last time I checked we signed him up--didn't know that it was just my responsibility. Yeah, I know, I know...

Taken on an empty tummy my xannys kick in within 15 minutes and only slightly longer if I've eaten. An hour seems like an awfully long time especially if it makes you drowsy

Stupid LIPA. They shut off our power and it won't be turned back on until at least 8pm. Don't they know I only have 76% left of my laptop battery??? As it is, I'm using someone in my neighborhood's internet connection (apparently they shut of our side of the street but not the other).
