PMS in a Handbasket--Don't be afraid, just bring us food... Part 22

Live...from Chicago! :teeth: Totally exhausted since we woke up early, visited a brewery and had beer/pretzels for lunch (other food eventually followed ;) ), and were on the go all day long.

Thanks for the hugs last night everyone. I think we may have it worked out. My DSIL is going to take a week off of work and come. We will have to fly her here from Tulsa ($$$$$) and she will have to start her IVF shots while she's here, but she didn't even hesitate. In fact she offered before I could ask. She's willing to make those sacrifices, but my dad couldn't take one day off of work and reschedule a carpet appointment. Unbelievable.
Great news! So glad you figured out a plan!

Got it. Now, I realize this story was horrifying, but am I the only one who sees the humor in it, too? I mean, if I can laugh about it, surely the rest of you can, too! :lmao:
I thought it was hilarious and horrifying.

25K. Panties!!!!!!!!!!;)
Rainbow panties, huh? :woohoo: ;) :teeth:

Well I was headed here 2 and 1/2 hours ago but I got sidetracked. There I was, upstairs, folding laundry. Just minding my own bidness when Dh came sauntering in from work with "that" look on his face :scared1: Luckily I hadn't changed the sheets yet :sad2:
Took 2 1/2 hours?

Hi! Can't stay, gotta run! That American Band show is coming on and I have to watch our doctors get ripped apart!
I forgot about the show for the first part of it...have they been on yet?

Hi, back from feeding the family and doing baths/bed. DS has been grabbing his ear and crying that his ear hurt, but seems better with some tylenol on board...so what do you all think? Up at 3 crying with an ear infection?

I just gave my family delivered pizza tonight, I'm a slug for a mom.
Hope he feels better and doesn't have an infection.

Delivered pizza is a very respectable dinner. :thumbsup2

Lemon meringue. No it wasn't frozen :sad2: Brownies sound good but I'm low on an essential ingredient :rolleyes1
Pass me one of those brownies when you make them...I want to see if those brownies really do help migraines... :rolleyes1

I need to get my ears cleaned out professionally, my hearing is getting worse and worse...I'm hoping it's just wax build up. It's to the point where I really can't hear a lot.
Damn, you beat me to it.... :rotfl2:

I want sweet lobstahs in my ear too

Me too, cept not sure I want them in my EAR!

Andy, hes a wimp!!! :snooty: I got it all babeeeeeee :thumbsup2

At bingo tonight, this lady at our table was talking about Andy. Andy this, Andy that! My mind went right to you of course.

I fed mine a hot dog at Bingo!

Have you tried ear candleing? It is posted on the DIS so it must work :thumbsup2  Do you need the link to the 2 year old thread that was just resurected?

I have been hearing this everywhere! I am reading up on it, as I might do it myself.

Me too Lara! My ears STILL have no popped since our flight down to Florida on September 6th! I have been on two meds, had my ears cleaned out and still hasn't gotten rid of it completely. I really am considering this ear candling. My neighbor told me about it and we are going to have an ear candling party! :rotfl: Everyone is coming over to watch her do it to me! (get your minds out of the gutter)

Good evening :grouphug:

Hey Mysty!

I was JOKING!!!!! No way in hell I would let anyone near me with some hocus pocus quack LIT candle. But hey, to each their own.

I personally have always had great luck with the over the counter ear cleaning stuff. It is drops to soften the wax and then you flush water in. But I also found out that after I started gently drying my ears with a Q-tip after I shower I don't have wax build up problems anymore.

Back to my scrap room. . .

Or the couch depending on where I fall first!

Well, my Mom's cancer is stage 4, mestastic and terminal. The doctor gives her 2 years. They still don't know if it's the breast cancer returning or if it's a new cancer in the form of lung cancer. She could have chemo to help her feel better but it's not a treatment. There isn't one. She still has her positive attitude and says she's going to fight it. She is now going back to having the chest surgery next week, the oncologist wasn't it sooner than later. The surgeon is going to do a biopsy while he's in there also. She'll also have some other tests while she is in the hospital. I'm beyond devestated to be honest.

I'm so sorry sweetie. Anything can happen. They gave my dad less than a year when he was diagnosed with his lung cancer. Its now completely gone and all had was chemo. You just never know what the big guy has in mind for us. Keep the faith and know how much we love you and we are here for you.

That's much better than what I said. Thanks, 4's.

 Afternoon. What a day. Work was super busy because they closed campus so everyone had to eat in the caf, then Ty has had this weird rash for a day and guess what, turns out he has shingles! Good grief. :sad2:

Paige, I'm a bit confused on what is wrong (I skimmed back a little) but I love ya hon and can't wait to speak sweet lobstahs in your ear when I see ya!

LB- I have no words.....:scared1:

Well thank goodness 4's! There is that staph infection thing going around!
