I am so flippin' tired!

Guess what Thing 1's science teacher did? She took a pic of them all in these vests they had to make illustrating which element they were, and they had to "be" that element that day...........and then she pasted it on an index card and mailed it out like a postcard. She wrote on it "What a great looking bunch. Science rocks!" No wonder that's his favorite class!

I wish more teachers could be like that.

Just curious. Is this a girl thing? My boys have never said that so I'm wondering if its more of a girl thing where we tend to be more emotional verses boys who, well, you know how guys are.

I've made it with hamburger and veggies in it. He says he wants weenies and mac and cheese. Which is apparently exactly that. Why on earth a grown man with a wife who can cook him some damn fabulous down home comfort food would request that I cannot fathom

Speaking of Halloween costumes...I need some ideas for me. I NEVER dress up, but am supposedly going to a party this year and they won't let us in the door if we are not in costume. Better yet, does anyone have a costume they want to send me?

So I knew today would be stressful and I would be exhausted. I picked up this heat and eat French Dip stuff from Costco (it was yummy!) and some nice sub rolls, a bag of chips and some fresh string beans. Quick and easy dinner. Heat the meat, warm the rolls, steam the beans and open the chips.

Welcome to cooking with LTS. I overwarmed the rolls--they were a bit on the "crusty" side (hard as a rock). I pull them out, turn around for a min and still smell something burning and look back to see a fire on my stove! I turned on the wrong burner and a stray pan is flaming.

Good thing I only did a quick and easy meal.

I glad everyone's ok. The humiliation will eventually fade.
