Please plan our MK Christmas itinerary

We have been to WDW so many time, that I could probably plan an itinerary for almost any circumstance. Almost I said! I now find myself not knowing where to start on my own. This is because we are going for the first time during Christmas week, and from what I've read, if you haven't been there, then you don't have a clue. Here's our plans, so please tell me how to make this work:

When: Thursday, Dec. 29th
Who: DH, DS(12), & me
What we want to do:
Attractions: Mickey's Philharmagic, Stitch, & Country Bears
Shows: All the special Christmas shows
Parades: Daytime christmas parade
Meals Planned: The Plaza Rest. @ 11:30 am, LTT @7:30 pm

Now give it your best shot, and gives us your best plan. Thanks

We like you have been to WDW many times. Our secret to having a great time when we go xmas week is not to plan at all. Other then a few PS for dinner, we simply go with the flow, enjoy the decorations, and decide what to do based on the crowds and our mood. By having no expectations xmas week, we are never disappointed.

apart from maybe gaining the EEntry and checking off your Must dos and the big rides....Remember you can sleep after christmas

Thanks for your advice. We're not planning to go at it commando style. I hope my expectations are realistic. We are only planning on seeing the special holiday events, inc. Country Bears for the special Christmas show, and would like to see Mickey's Phil. & Stitch, since we haven't seen them before. No other rides. I need advice as to what to go to first etc. What should I FP, then go on to ?, while I wait for FP time to come up. We need a general step by step plan, but if it doesn't work out, no big deal. Thanks again.

It sounds like your expectations are very realistic. When you get to the park, check the times of the special shows you want to see and work in when you can see those compared to when your meals are. As far as the order of your attractions go...I'd go with what I'd expect to be busiest first. Since Stitch is new, you might want to see that first. Then Mickey's Philharmagic, with Country Bears last since I don't think it usually gets all that busy even during super-busy times. Other than that, you can just take it easy, relax, and enjoy all the gorgeous decorations knowing that you don't have to fight your way through the crowds to get to a lot of stuff.

Are you only going to be their one day to just the the MK? If not,
be sure to take a day and see all the Christmas shows in the countries @ Epcot. It'll take most of the day to see them all, but they are so worth it and the crowds will not be that bad in that park.

We're spending Christmas Eve, and NYE at Epcot.

Here's what I'm thinking for MK:
Being there at park opening. Going straight to Mickey's Philharmagic and getting a FP. Going to Stitch. Returning to MP, if FP is up, or catching Country Bears. Doing MP or CB, whichever we didn't do before. This leaves the rest of the day open for the parade and Christmas shows. Is this a good strategy?

If anyone still wants to take a shot at planning a step by step itinerary, that would be great. I'm a little surprised. I thought alot of people would be jumping at the chance to get to tell us what to do, if only for one day.
