Please Look at This Picture - Has Anyone Seen This Missing Baby? UPDATES THROUGHOUT

There has also been no mention of this little girls father.

That's because he's an unkown, she was a single mother.

What makes matters worse is her Facebook had pictures of her out drinking and at parties with friends as recently as a week or so before the little girl disappeared. I think she just got sick of being a young single mom and took her agression out on the poor baby :(

A bit off topic, but I'm still not convinced the mother had anything to do with Trenton Duckett.

I know this is totally illegal, but this is the type of situation where police should take these 'monsters' into a private room, inject them with sodium penathol and find out exactly has happened, then deny, deny, deny that it ever happened then that poor child can be found no matter where they may be

Totally agree. However, once they get the info from her, I think they should do something else thats totally illegal to her, and then just deny deny deny that! Anyone that can do that to their own child is not a human being, just a soul-less monster who deserves a slow painfull death.

People like this should get a nice all expenses paid vacation in the Caribbean. I hear the amenities at Guantanamo Bay are top notch!

According to the 'mother', the father was killed in a car accident. Whether that is actually true or not, who knows.

From watching the news coverage (and it is about all we are seeing now), the mother is very unstable. Her friends call her a habitual liar. She was living with a friend recently, but was kicked out for stealing $800 from the friend. She doesn't have a driver's license, so I'm not sure why her parents let her drive their car.

I had a really bad feeling about this the first time the reported the story on the local news. I don't think it will end well. I feel very bad for the grandparents who seem to idolize that little girl.

It killed me to open the paper this morning and see the police digging in the grandparents backyard next to a playhouse, kid's picnic table and sandbox.

Wonder why there isn't anything on CNN's webpage about this. I keep checking there for updates but there aren't any so I have to go to the Orlando news sites.

I don't have a good feeling about this either. That little girl is so adorable. I hope and pray she is found safe and sound. I have to wonder if the mom didn't "sell" her to settle a debt or something along those lines.

This story makes me sick to my stomach, I hope and pray that little girl is safe and sound. If the daughter Casey was so unstable (as she sounds from assorted news stories) then why didn't her parent intervene concerning the care for their granddaughter? why would they give an unstable, unlicensed woman a car to drive? Something is fishy here, she had a whole month to cover her tracks? The grandparents hadn't seen their granddaughter in over a month and didn't think anything of it? I'm confused on the whole situation. I'll pray for Caylee.

Each time the grandmother is asked about her daughter, she refuses to talk about her. She just keeps saying that they need to concentrate on finding the baby. That may be true, but it seems odd that they don't acknowledge anything about their daughter. Perhaps, the lawyers have told them not to do so. It is all very confusing.

I haven't seen any news coverage on this, just what I read here just now, but I will say this...in these cases it's ALWAYS the parent(s). ALWAYS! Not once has one of these cases, where there is something suspicious, turned out not to be the parents' doing. At least not any I have been aware of. Not reporting your 2 year old missing for a month?? I no longer have a child that young BUT at age 2 I would have reported them missing after 5 minutes of not knowing where they were or who they were with!!! Seriously, she saw something on TV that convinced her not to call the cops? YEAH RIGHT! She killed that poor baby, as sure as I'm sitting here. I hope I'm wrong but I know she has to be gone, rest in peace sweet little girl. :guilty: And I do feel for the grandparents, I'm sure they were probably more parents to her than grandparents with an irresponsible mother like that. They are probably good people who just don't have a clue and raised a monster, not on purpose but through not having the skills to do a better job. I pray every day to never be that kind of parent, and to have the strength and wisdom to do the right thing even if it's hard, so my kids grow up to be good parents someday. It sickens me how some people treat their kids! Ok off my soapbox now, I just get sick to my stomach when I read about these cases and then angry as hell when I read about the parents acting like they are not involved and it's no big deal. Pure evil.

The stench in the car turned out to be rotted pizza that was covered in maggots in the car trunk. The Grandmother claims that her daughter Casey was driving the car and it ran out of gas and she didn't have time to go back and retrieve it.
It is beginning to look like the Grandmother comes up with excuses for her daughter. The daughter continues to sit in the Orange county jail, emotionless. It seems like she could care less if her little girl is ever found.

If she did something to her daughter, I doubt she would have taken the time to bury her. She probably dumped her out in a wooded area.
But then again she could have had help. Detectives usually don't start digging up backyards unless some of the ground looks disturbed or they received a tip of recent digging.
The grandmother is probably in shock/denial.

First let me say my heart goes out to everyone involved. This story breaks my heart, but makes me mad also.
I saw the grandparents on the Today show this morning.
Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't the little girl and her mother living w/the grandparents? Did they wonder where she was for 5 weeks? What is going on w/that side of the story? While their daughter was out partying over the past several weeks, did they not ask where their grandaughter was?

My son says I'm OBSESSED with true crime stories and I'm sure he's right. I DVR Forensic Files, Cold Case Files, American Justice, Dateline, Dominic Dunne, you name it, I watch it.

This will be on one of these shows unfortunately.

What upsets me is that the stories are so SIMILAR. Every story of a spouse killing a spouse or a parent killing a child carry very similar stories, most concerning the DEMEANOR of the guilty parent.

It reminds me of the first sentence of my textbook in my Criminology class in college. Most criminals have very low intelligence. or common sense. :sad2:

Did anyone else read where they grandmother said her daughter received a call from the child Tuesday? There weren't many details. They said when the "mother" asked to speak to an adult the phone was hung up. Why didn't the grandmother come forward with that sooner? This whole thing is strange!

The grandmother was on Geraldo's show last night. I don't think she came off as very credible. She just seemed to keep picking on the media. :(

Geraldo was trying to help get information out but she didn't care about that.

From what I'm reading about her she doesn't sound completely innocent or like someone said she thinks her daughter can do no wrong. I just hope and pray this little girl is safe and sound somewhere. Where are the chances that she sold her to a decent family?
