Please Look at This Picture - Has Anyone Seen This Missing Baby? UPDATES THROUGHOUT

I am still wondering where brother Lee is. We haven't seen him at all and the media hasn't mentioned him at all. If Lee thought Caylee could be out there, I think we'd see him searching or standing by his mom. Sadly I think Lee is the only one in this family that knows the truth.

I read somewhere, perhaps websleuths, that it was poured "over the 4th of July weekend."
In other words, after she "disappeared" but before police were first notified.

They need to jackhammer that concrete up and look underneath it.
So Casey deleted over 200 pictures of Caylee - I wonder if there's something incriminating in them, or if she was just done with Caylee then.
She was done. She knew her daughter was dead and likely didn't want any photos on her MySpace page reminding her of that.
One thing that haunts me all the time is that no one in the family seems to miss Caylee. Casey seems to have just moved on, with no regrets. George was out fertilizing his lawn, but why wasn't he out with Equusearch searching? I just don't get it, and don't understand why it seems like all of us care more for Caylee than they seem to.
In their defense (did I just post that?) we don't know what they're spending their time doing when they're not on TV. And Equusearch has reported that they're getting much fewer volunteers to look for Caylee than they usually get -- no doubt because I think most people are convinced that Caylee is no longer with us.
The second thing that haunts me is that Casey kept saying that she thought Caylee was "close" - just what did she mean by that? Is she at home under the patio after all?
I had that thought too. I've read that some killers enjoy making comments that taunt the authorities -- and Casey and her family certainly haven't shown any respect for LE's efforts here.

I just saw Cindy on the Today show -- and she parroted her cry of "Oh, why aren't people looking for my grandbaby?" and "Why is it going to take a citizen searcher to find my walking, breathing granddaughter and not LE?"

Perhaps Lee thinks his parents might eventually be implicated in a cover up and he wants no part of it. In all honesty, I do think he knows, along with Cindy and George, where Caylee is (or that she has been disposed of with slim to no chance of being found) and is already involved in that way.

Lee lost his credibility with me when he became non-chalant about Caylee's disappearance. I believe he knows his sister killed his neice, only I believe he did not find out as quickly after the 911 call as Cindy and George did.

They are not grieving. They are not searching. This is beyond abnormal. I believe Cindy and George know the truth. I do not believe they are in denial, they are simply "sticking to the story" at all costs, no matter what, in order to convince everyone that their daughter is not a child killer. They can't grieve because that would blow their cover up. Their only focus right now is to keep their daughter from execution or a lifetime sentence.

George, Cindy, and Lee are involved in the cover-up, I would bet anything.

I'm hoping that just possibly she had enough guilt or love left for her daughter to bury her and not leave her for animals to get. :(

Sadly, I do not see guilt or love anywhere in this case. Casey is only out for saving herself. I believe the determination to get rid of the body without it being traced back to her, is the only feeling she ever had concerning Caylee's death. We're talking a cold, calculating individual void of empathy. We're talking the ultimate ice-queen and that's being kind.

Any veteran liar will tell you that the number one rule in lying is "Stick to your story". Don't change it, embellish it, or alter it. And regardless of however else you might feel about Casey, that's the one thing she's doing: she's sticking to her story, even after LE has told her that they can prove that it's full of holes and cow patties. I think once she realized how easy it was for LE to disprove her lies she decided it would be much better if she stopped talking (and I'll bet that her lawyer gave her that advice, too. Any lawyer will tell you that if you're accused of a crime you invoke your right to remain silent and don't tell the cops anything without your lawyer present).

I think that George & Cindy realize that while they've lost a granddaughter they need to help Casey or also risk losing their daughter as well. That means sticking by their story. The problem is that they've got a tiger by the tail -- and every day that passes that brings new evidence that makes it harder to do that.

I think the last truthful and forthright thing Cindy uttered was "it smells like a dead body was in the damn car" -- if you've heard the tapes, she's genuinely concerned for Caylee. She's trying to get LE to take her seriously. She's scared and worried. Sometime after that phone call, I believe Casey told her family the truth and now, everything they say or do is in an attempt to protect Casey, not to find Caylee (which would lead to a conviction for Casey). They are fully prepared to go forward with this kidnapper story, all the way to the bitter end. If LE can prove it, I sure hope they all get charged with "accessory after the fact" or "obstruction of justice".

Did anyone watch Nancy Grace last night? Seems like she's pulling away from her belief that the grandparents deserve pity. They replayed the clip of Cindy saying the car smelled like a dead body and followed it up with the clip where she says she was wrong, it was rotting pizza she smelled (at least 2 times). Doesn't sound like NG is pushing the innocence of the gps anymore.

Well... time is ticking.
She is such a liar I think she believes her own story now and doesnt think she needs immunity.

I hvae dealt with Casey being a liar and all that. I ahve come to deal with the fact that she will not fess up as to where Caylee is. Its the grandparents that are getting to me now. Yelling at people to find their granddaughter... I want to shake them and yell 'ask Casey, not the world'. I get they want to protect their daughter, but come on... time for a reality check as hard as it is. On one hand they think its someone elses body in the trunk of the car... okay, they admit that there was a body in the car.. dont deny those tests. But completely deny and DNA/hair evidence. they say the baby is alive, but show up at the search... these people are driving me more crazy than Casey.
okay.... hope some of that made sense LOL!

The police know more about this than they are telling the public, which is a good thing. They need to keep it quiet til the right time and the charges would stick.. The 1 thing I know is Cindy and George I feel are as involved in this as casey. If my grand-daughter that I took care of totally til she was 5 was missing, they would have to sedate me til they found her and I sure as heck would help them put my daughter behind bars til her death. Cindy and George I believe had taken care of Caylee as their own and I cannt believe that they haven't shed a tear. The only sane one in that family is Lee.

I asked my mom this weekend what she would do in this situation. She stated that no matter what, her grandaughter would be her #1 priority. If she knew I was guilty, she said she would probably kill me with her own hands! thanks mom!

Point is, what grandmother would protect their evil, sociopath, lying child over their grandaughter?

I just don't get parents protecting their children when they KNOW in their hearts that they did something wrong. I love my DD to pieces, but if she committed murder, I would be the first one to turn her in.

I think so, too. I think they've known Caylee is dead for a while now and are accepting it. Now they're doing everything they can not to lose their daughter, too.

I honestly don't know what I'd do in this situation. My oldest is 15. Do you feel differently toward your children when they are adults? I love my son with every fiber of my being. It's hard to think that I could just give him away to die no matter what he did. At the same time, I'd feel like he needed to be helped and taken away so he didn't do it again. I just don't know.

Ok, the "thanks mom" did make me laugh :lmao:

but back on track, it didn't take long for me to think that there was an evil, sociopath, lying grandmother as well as a evil, sociopath, lying child.

Kids can be a crapshoot, and a bad child does not always = a bad parent, but in this case, I think it is pretty clear the proverbial apple did not fall far from the tree. They all make me sick

She declined the immunity deal. So not only is she a complete liar, but she is stupid as well.
She will never ever fess up.:sad2:

I lothe Casey with every ounce of my being, but I have to say, she (and her lawyer) is not stupid. If she took the deal, that would mean that the words she says will not be held against her, however whatever they find from what she tells them (about where the body is) will be held against her. Get it.... so say she tells them exactly where she is - she will not get in touble for telling, but will get in trouble if they find any evidence on the body, i.e. Caseys hair, blood, or whatever may lead LE to be able to prove that she was involved.

She will never tell, till the day she dies, she will never say a word, and that poor baby will forever be the brunt of her madness. :sad2: :sad1:

From a legal standpoint she would be stupid to take the deal. What's in it for her? It was limited immunity so if she told where the body was, they wouldn't be able to use her statements against her but would use the evidence from the body to convict her. Declining the immunity this way she says nothing and can just deny it.

Until by chance her body is found... or someone somehow slips up. She should have taken the deal and put Caylee to rest. And if her parents arent guilty themselves... she would have given them some closure.

I cant believe that so few people are showing up in the search. For all the people that stand outside of that house and talk it up down there.... there was only about 35 peopel that volunteered to search today.

well I am sure alot of people are back to work today. I know I can't take off to go search, I would love to, also, many probably have other issues such as finding childcare etc. Not everyone can just drop everything and go search.
