Great start Monica! I can't wait to find out if Michelle took a bite out of the carousel!
Well, my travel story began Wednesday around 1:30 when I left from Virginia to head to GA for the night and then on to FL Thursday morning! I also had a lot of weird feelings as I left that day to go visit Disney World with strangers! But I knew we weren't truly strangers (I mean, I did actually MEET Monica in June for like a whopping 2 hours!

) and I've chatted with Michelle to know that she is at least not a serial killer! I mean, seriously...when would she have the time?
I packed my ax just in case though!
My husband was also out of town on a business trip to Vegas, so I had to pack up the kids stuff just as if they were going on a trip too! They were headed to my Mom's and even though they knew I was going to FL - they seemed ok with it!

Even said I should hop over to Disney while I was there! Um, ok kids...I will!
I made a few stops along the way, but made it to the hotel around 8:30 that night. The hotel was fine, but I did notice that the lock on the door (not the deadbolt, but the "extra" lock - like the "chain" but not a chain, if you KWIM) was broken. I had already changed into my PJs so I didn't really feel like going to the lobby and getting a different room, so I just pushed a table up against the door (like that would keep me safe, LOL!).
I left the next morning about 7:45 and got to the Orlando area around 12:00. I got a phone call from Michelle saying she was at the airport waiting for Monica and that she had made good time! We agreed to just call as we got closer to WDW! I arrived into the Disney area around 12:30. I had to stop and get a battery for my camera (even though I brought 3 with me - NONE of them were charged - and I knew I wouldn't have a chance to charge them before I met the girls for lunch - UGH) and then I cleaned out my car and found my way over to the Beach Club. I made one wrong turn going into the BC (service entrance - oops) and made myself laugh out loud for already getting lost! Then I called Jen to see if she wanted to meet us over at Beaches & Cream, but I just got her voice mail!
I got our buzzer (20 minute wait she said) and sat and waited for the girls to arrive! The Beach Club is so beautiful, and I couldn't believe that I was sitting there in a sweater (and not hot in it) and people were walking past me in their bathing suits!

Too funny! The girls arrived and it was as if we had known eachother all our lives!
Continue on with the story Monica....
