We're allowed to be nerds all weekend long!! Speaking of being a nerd.. I was watching John and Kate + 8 last night and it was their Disney trip. I couldn't help but tear up. I'm such a dork!

Hey Monica - I watched John & Kate + 8 for the first time last night - must have missed the Disney episode though - drat! The one I saw was them getting their teeth whitened.

We're such good planners we don't even need to post on our own thread? My mom has already started a list of things she wants me to pick up for her while at Disney! She loves the Mickey and Minnies in the different outfits in World Showcase. I want to pick one up for Megan too. The French Minnie is very cute. I'm getting so excited!! We are going to have such a fabulous time! I can't wait to shop!!

3. YUMMY DINNER AT BOMA

Seriously, I want to shop til I drop. Fill up my tummy. Then shop some more. (Assuming we don't go on the cruise). I'd love to check out Goofy's candy shop since I've never been in there. World of Disney and the Christmas store. Oh! I'm picturing us after dinner at Boma, sitting around the fire pit at AKL.

Hmmm.. well

First of all I hope to arrive safe and sound (whether I drive or (gasp) fly...)

Secondly, I hope to eat some of those yummy desserts I keep hearing about from Boma

and

Thirdly, I'm hoping to have some nice "real" chatting with my friends (unless you girls just want to bring our laptops and talk that way )I can totally picture us: Sitting around a fireplace or out at the pool...all plugged in and talking to one another through the computers!

I finally found this thread again, I swore I subscribed to it . I will never catch up. I am totally jealous that you get to meet one another. I can't wait to see Monica's designs, she is so talented. I actually did window clings this last trip because of her.

Hi girls! Is this thing still working? Hello out there...

I have myself a conundrum, can you help?

We are staying at the POP at the beginning of our trip and we want to move from POP to either the POLY or the WL for the last 5 nights. Totally different feels, I know. Given that this just may be the only Holiday WDW trip we take for many years to come, where would you stay?

Hey Jen! I'm still here! I guess we started this PTR a bit early and already have everything planned. I'm sure it will pick up as the trip gets closer.

Tough choice on the resorts. I've never stayed or even been to WL and haven't been to the Poly since I was a kid. But, I've heard that WL is just gorgeous at Christmas so I would probably choose that. Plus, the look of WL is just more Christmassy (is that a word?) to me. What sort of atmosphere does your family prefer - Hawaiaan tropical or mountain lodge? I'm sure both are just awesome and you'll have a great time wherever you choose. Keep us posted!

Hey Jen! Well, I can't speak for the Poly at the holidays as I have never been there, but the WL is stunning at Christmas! I'm sure the Poly is nice too and it's actually where I would prefer staying at any other time if I were going deluxe (or the Contemporary) but mostly because I just think it would be awesome to be on the monorail line! For the holidays, I don't know what they do at the Poly...but the beach certainly would be nice to watch Wishes from!
