We have a lot of character meals planned and that is part of the experience for our family. This is our first time on the DDP but we look forward to sitting down together and enjoying a meal so that is why there are quite a few!! As you can see, there are a few that we need help making a choice on!! Any suggestions, positive or negative would be appreciated!!

Good choices. I think I'd do WCC over Trail's End b/c you've got a lot of buffets.

Also will you have a car? If not, you might want to take that into consideration for your breakfast ADRs.

I'd do the CP at 8:25 so you can be in MK before opening.

Thanks. Yes we know RFC and Trex aren't on the DDP!! We wish they were but are excited anyways. But I do appreciate your reply. I don't usually seem to get very many so the ones I get I really appreciate!!

I would try for an Ohana at 7 p.m. so that you are sitting at a table when the fireworks start. Even if you don't get a table by the window you can still see them over the castle and the music is piped in. I would replace Chef Mickey's with this one. We did CM supper and it wasn't that great. I'll try the breakfast the next time I'm there.

I think that you should have thought carefully about your ADRs before double booking.

I didn't double book. My husband called at a different time than I did and I was not aware of it. So... I am trying to figure out which ones to keep so that I can CANCEL the ones we don't need! That would be the whole point of this thread. But, thanks anyways.

You are welcome. Just seems like one of you would have been aware of it if the other had given the confirmation # for your reservation to the CM. The CM should have been able to see that you were already booked within the hour for 4 restaurants on 4 days.

Actually, neither of us had to give our reservation number to the CM, which I found strange. That is because we added the DDP this week and called about reservations quite a bit after our 90 days. I was at school when I called and my husband was at home. So crossed signals I guess and the CMs not caring what our reservation number was because we were well after our 90 days. I guess that is what happened. Again, we wanted opinions so that we could cancel the extras.

I don't think the point of this was so the OP could be lectured about making double ADR's. She and her husband didn't communicate and she has no intention of keeping them until she arrives and just not showing up at one...which is where the real problem with double bookings comes in. So let's give her a break and move on to the reason for the post, please.

Cape May Cafe 905 am We LOVED Cape May Cafe. Maybe you could base the choice between Cape May and 1900 Park on which park you plan to go to that AM? They are both great so I think you would be safe going to either one.

or 910 am Your getting towards the end of your trip you are probably going to be worn out...I would take the later reservation and ditch the 8:25. But the PP does have a point about being in the park before it opens. Just think of your stamina level by this point in the trip and I think you will be able to make a decision that works for your family.

Your choices look great! Hope you guys have a wonderful trip. It's so great that you realize you are double booked and are going to cancel the ones you don't need! Some people don't bother and that causes problems! This is very considerate of you.

No problem! Yes, we leave soon and we are very excited. We are really looking forward to our trip. I have two suitcases already spread out in my office (I work from home) where I have started to gather items.
