Does anyone have a photo of what the hurricane "glass" looks like?
This is the clear white one.Does anyone have a photo of what the hurricane "glass" looks like?
Thank you!!This is the clear white one.
What's the beer mug deal? I'm not a sugary drink fan, usually still to beer or wine so I'm wondering if it would be worthwhile to get the drink of the day or not.Is the cup bigger than the regular sized drink? Similar to the beer mug deal?
....what is the story on popcorn buckets?I use my souvenir cup at home too. I love mixing up my own Bahama Mama and sipping it out of my DCL hurricane glass, but I don't bother packing the glass to take back on my next cruise. I do pack our popcorn bucket though.
I think you both are right that the regular cups are wider and since the hurricane glass is narrower in the middle, it doesn't hold as much as you might think. I wish I had bookmarked the post from the person who compared the two drinks so I could link to it. But it just confirmed for me that I wasn't making a mistake by not packing my souvenir glass.

That sounds like a good snack option! Is it for during shows? There is a refillable popcorn bucket you can buy. It cost $7.50 (plus the 15% auto-gratuity), but you can then purchase refills for it at a lower cost. On the cruises we've been on, the cost of the refill was $3.50 which was the same as the smaller box of popcorn, but the refillable bucket was larger. Recent posts here have indicated they dropped the price of the refill to $1.50.

Thank you for the info! You can buy a beer mug for $14.95 either by calling DCL gifts before you sail or at one of the bars when you board.
The beer mug holds 22 oz draft but you pay the same price as you would for 16 oz to fill it.
We would just get bud light and that cost $6.00 to fill the mug. If you were to buy a small 16 oz glass of bud light, same price. So you get 6oz more beer with the beer mug.
The mug is heavy though, so when finished you can hand it to a bartender and he will give you a beer token to hold until you are ready again. At the end of your cruise you can take the beer mug home. It's nice quality.
I may have a pic.
Yes... I took it out once to have a cold beer at home.. poured a can of beer in it and was shocked to see that it only filled like quarter of the beer mug... so how much were we actually drinking on this cruise.... DISNEY cruise...Nice! Perfect addition for home bar!
My friend brought hers back no problem. Can I bring my hurricane cups back on my next cruise? I have 4 now! I know I could get the drink of the day in a regular cup, but there's something about those pretty tropical cups![]()
I think it was $4.65 plus gratuity - I know it was just under $5 total.Sorry if this was already answered, but how much is a regular drink of the day?

Sorry if I missed this elsewhere, but does anyone have examples of what the drinks of the day are?
