DS was watching the Food Network Unwrapped WDW Special on TV last night, and said that he saw some desserts at Chef Mickey's that kids can make themselves. He mentioned an edible "play-doh", painting a cookie, decorating cupcakes... Is this really offered at Chef Mickey's? I just remember the MYO ice cream sundaes with TONS of toppings, and a few other dessert offerings (cakes, brownies...). I don't want him to have his hopes up if those things aren't there, but he insists they said kids get to make their own desserts and "play with your food" (boy, was he excited by that one!) at Chef Mickey's. Anyone know for sure? Thanks.

Chef Mickey's used to have Make Your Own Cupcakes a few years ago. I think it was our 2002 trip. I remember my DD being able to pick her frosting and toppings. They had it set up along the long counter area on the other side of the wall where you line up to get your PIC taken. Donald Duck usually stands in this area. But I haven't seen them do this ever since then and we have been to CM's at least once a year since.
