Please boycot The Donald........

I don't know . . . wasn't Rosie the one who was obsessed with Tom Cruise?

Ever since she told that employee of her magazine that lying causes people to get cancer, I could not really stand her. She is a total c-word! Plus, I work so I am not home during the day to watch her confrontational *****iness on the View.
And The Donald is so cliche - his show lacks innovation and the team leader seems doomed whenever the team fails, so there is virtually no drama involving who is going home each week.

Don't like either of them, and don't watch either of their shows. I think they've both shown their maturity levels with this whole spat.

Barbara Walters just said, "let me say definitively that everything he said that I said about Rosie is totally untrue." I have the View on and that is an exact quote.

I'm so glad someone else thinks this way too! I DO NOT like this woman, I think she is not only loud and obnoxious, but clearly just as low as Donald to strive for attention. She is not perfect, so how dare she just attack people for "money." I don't really care for Donald either, but I REALLY don't like Rosie. I don't agree with some of the things Donald said, but at the same time, when you run your mouth and run it to everyone, it's going to come back around to you at some point.

To me, they're both on the same level.

I'm not a Nielsen Family so a boycott would be futile.

I rather enjoy the apprentice and am not about to change b/c of his statements in public.

Unless you are a Nielsen family..the boycott is useless IMHO and I just don't feel strongly enough to do it "just in principal". They have sleaze balls on other shows as well and unless you plan on boycotting them all--I just don't feel it worth it IMHO.

Their temper tantrum like toddlers is the least of my concerns.

Not crazy for either one. but dislike Rosie.
Donald I just laugh at.

Exactly. They both love the attention. I give mine to neither.

Oh, please.

I think the whole thing is hilarious. It cracks me up that people are coming out of the woodwork in protest of Trump's comments. I saw an interview with some member of the plus-size community (from the acting community?) talking about what an outrage this way, how Trump has insulted every overweight person in America. Give me a break! :rotfl:

I thought Trump's comments were pretty much on target. Rosie favorite pasttime seems to be passing along her uneducated opinions about others. It's about time someone called her on it.

I used to watch the Rosie show, simply because her monologues were quite amusing. Her antics after the show (the cancer comment, etc.) showed her true persona, and I purposely avoid The View now. As for The Apprentice...it's gone downhill, but I DVR it weekly and will continue to watch as long as it airs.

Pastime???

I thought it was her JOB, she is a TALK SHOW host on a show called "THE VIEW" as in "point of view".

Sorry, I just think it is TOO FUNNY when some(not you) demand talk show hosts shut up:lmao:

but, aren't you doing the same thing by saying you "purposely avoid the view":confused3 From your commnets you appear to be doing the same thing - just on the other side of the fence.

Did I miss him say anything about other women??

I remember listening to him on Howard Stern (satellite radio) where he said

"I rate Angelina Jolie a solid 5. Why Brad would want to be with her, I don't know":headache:

On Inside Edition they showed a whole segment on public feuds he's had with people and they were all women.

Don't watch either of them. I do recall Rosie tried to have a security officer at a school near her home fired due to him telling her she could not park in a posted No Parking Zone. Think she was screaming "Do you know who I am?".

Who ever is taking this all seriously needs to boycot themselves. It is showmanship.

I have the Apprentice DVRed for the whole season. Woo hoo. I LOVE the Apprentice.

I don't care for Rosie, but Donald Trump is an arrogant pompous jerk.

There is another thread about his new hair color. So, I had to turn on the tv to see for myself.;) It looks as bad as I remember it. Then, I started wandering... What does that "hair" really look like when he showers? Then, this mental picture of him began to form in my head... Wet hair hanging down... bald spot on top... while he is naked!!!!!! :scared: :scared: :scared: Ok, so that was the end of the visual! :faint: :faint: He is jerk and completely physically revolting! How can his wife even get near him? :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

Did you have to share that image? UGH! :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

I'm with you. Donald just wont let it die! And he went after Merideth too, him and his daughter.

I never could stand him.

I saw the show that day. Donald was extremely rude to Merideth. Then he had to drag is daughter down as low as him. He just proved to the world that you can have tons of money, but that doesn't mean you have the class to go with it. The nerve of him to critisize the way someone looks. They only reason any woman wanted to be with him was because of all his money. Doesn't he get that? I will never watch his show again, and never support him in any way at all.

:confused3 I'm not standing on the street calling for a boycott of Rosie because I don't like something she said. The title of this thread called for a boycott of Trump. I stated that I don't watch The View because I don't want to spend my time listening to Rosie's tirades. It was a personal aside, not a call to action.

Who really cares what either of these people say anyway? :confused3

Since I don't watch The View, I just read about this today on my Yahoo news...

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20070108/ap_en_tv/people_rosie_o_donnell

She's proving to be just as bad as Donald, can't let it go and continues to provoke him. Does she want to continue his verbal attacks?

As I said before, they're definitely on the same level.

I read the article, but I didnt see any insults as harsh as the ones thrown out by the DONALD.

Oh she called him the Comb-over Bunny(ala Energizer bunny) because he keeps going and going. He on the other hand used words like LOSER/SLOB/FAT/FAILURE/UGLY/DEGENERATE/ETC... and that is not even getting into the lesbian innuendos he used.

Yes she should be the bigger person and let it go, but it is nowhere near the same level in my eyes.
