I do enjoy Rosie and feel like it is her job to give her opinion, and I do agree with her about Donald not being the moral authority. Do I understand why he was offended? Of course. Should she be able to take it, of course. But he crossed that line.

A hilarious reponse, to me, would have been The Donald showing a picture of Rosie half bald (her haircut was HORRIBLE!) from the late 90s and then saying, "SHE is making fun of my hair?"

That would have been funny and appropriate. Fat and ugly is just demeaning to overweight women and women not deemed model beautiful all over America.

Really, fat and ugly was the worst he could do?

OP, I agree with you that Rosie's job is to give her opinion on things and as we knew, the ladies of The View tend to be pretty opinionated and even disagree with each other. I do not agree with is her immaturity. She goes on a big rant on Monday about how she's letting the donald thing go, only to rant about it 15 minutes later AGAIN. I am in no way justifying Donalds actions of saying she is "fat," (I understand beauty is in the eye of the beholder but that was just childish and a silly "low blow") but there's no way I'm going to say she's any better than him either. Especially being the "great mom" that she claims to be (and that everyone makes her out to be), she should know better then to fight fire with fire. She should set a good example for her kids and take the high road out, not this destructive road that's just making her look as bad as Donald.

And you're right, it would've been so much more tasteful for Donald to take the mature way out...But alas, he didn't and we all are stuck hearing about this dramafest.

I watched the View on Monday, I didn't think Rosie ranted about DT for a straight 15 minutes. Yes, she did say some things, but I thought she handled it pretty well after being off for a whole week, having to keep all her thoughts that she really wanted to say kept inside. I really thought she was going to come on and really let him have it. But she didn't, she got a few digs at him but none of them can compare to the crap that rolled off his tongue.
