Playhouse Disney's Stanley

Has anybody thought Disney should publish a book like Stanley's Great Big Book of Everything? My 3 year old DD loves Stanley and animals. She has said she wants a book like Stanley's. I've looked in book stores for the animal encyclopedias, but they have all been geared towards older children. Anyway, I was thinking of dropping a suggestion to Disney about this. But guess what?? I noticed on Amazon that there is going to be A Great Big Book of Everything coming out at the end of July!! How cute!! It is a hardcover 96 page book. I can't wait to get it for DD...she'll be so excited! Is anybody else excited or am I the only one that thinks this is a good thing?

Too funny!!! My DD who is 5 now has always loved that show and loves to take my paperback books and pretend they are her "Great Big Book of Everything"........ya gotta love the imagination of a child!!!

My 5 yr old DD will really enjoy this book and I will be looking for it. I never thought about a book being published like Stanley's, and what a great idea. DD's B-day will be close to the time that this book makes it's debut and I will have to make it a b-day gift. Thanks again for sharing this.

Too Funny!! My DD also 5 does the same thing with books. She even puts them on the floor and pretends to jump into them.

On our last trip to WDW, we took pictures of as many animals as possible so she could make her own Great Big Book of Everything.

She still loves Stanley and all animals. Now that she is in school she comes home from library day with childrens reference books about animals. I have to say I'm learning more than I expected about animals, some I've never heard of.

DD and I made one when they did the animal alphabet last year and also showed parts of AK. If you go out to Playhouse Disney they might still have the printables available. I'll have to keep an eye out for the book.

We went to the playhouse disney show at MGM and I think I enjoyed it more than she did, singing all the songs and seeing Stanley live and in person!!
