And that's a good thing!! So many things to be happy and excited about... and you're "dragging" us all into your happiness too!! Truly makes the Disney Withdrawal easier to deal with!

And I realized I missed your post of your portrait session... can I just say that Henry eating that cake made me laugh so hard?! He face conveys pure joy. Makes me want to go get a cake and just destroy it because it looks like so much fun! Your family shots are just precious too.

Thankfully dragging DISers into my Disney glee isn't too difficult. I am very happy to spread my giddy, child-like excitement!

I totally had a mental picture of you diving into a cake... He was LOVING that chocolate cake. "YUM YUM YUM!"

Well, let's see, it's November this morning. I just came over here to see if anyone knows anything exciting that's going on in November.

11-01-2008 - Obeying the Countdown

I go to Disney THIS month!
ONE week!



Today when we took our Mickey head off our countdown it said:

Well, OKAY!

I didn't get very far, but the suitcases are offically OUT.

Back when I started this PTR, Henry was 5 months old. November seemed light years away. We had to go through the rest of the winter, the spring, the summer, the fall and begin winter again before we would be going. We would all have birthdays before we would be going. Henry couldn't even sit up on his own at the time. Now he's becoming a pro walker.

We've had so many events between way back then and today, it seemed to crawl by in ways, but in hindsight it flew! Tonight was the last 'event' we had before our trip and that was taking DMIL and DFIL out for dinner and a play. It was a wonderful evening, DSIL watched Henry, and he had a FANTASTIC time with his Auntie and learned how to "High 5". I was thinking several weeks ago that tonight was a milestone. After tonight, it's just normal evenings (aside from November 4 when we vote!) until our trip.

4.5 days left of work. (Friday is a half day for me! )
6.5 sleeps left. (I doubt I'll get a full nights rest on Friday!)

YEA!

Thank you for the Sunday morning read. You can tell I don't have any more babies, I was up at 6:00 a.m., which is still 5:00 a.m., I don't want to turn my internal clock this week, so I am ready for WDW Friday.

Last Spring, I changed our flights from Nov. 8, to the 7th. I figured why waste a day flying, when we can get done working, and fly down Friday nite to WDW. Then Midwest cancelled our flights and I had to look for something else. The best I could do was a 4:00 p.m. with AirTran on the 7th. Then they changed me to a 2:30, so now we have to be done working by noon, and drive to Milwaukee. My dh came home and said he took the whole day off, so I changed our flight to 8:00 a.m. This will give us Friday afternoon to do the Masters of Art. Our dd is driving from Brunswick GA and we have a ressie at 9:00 p.m. at O'hana's. We are staying at POP Friday nite. So maybe I'll see you guys and little Henry.

The suitcases are the final "big" thing before we leave. The first thing I thought of this morning was "let's get packing!" but I know if I do it too quick, this week will go by slowly.

That is GREAT about getting to move the flight back to 8:00 am! I wish we were leaving that early, but my PTO doesn't allow for it. It would be awesome to run into you! I am keeping my eyes peeled for the LGMHs. Where are you staying after Pop?

That is a good idea about the internal clock...I already took full advantage of the extra hour though. Oops.

That is so nice to stay at the BC during Food & Wine...just a quick walk to food heaven. I hope the booths are good...I have a list of things I want to try-all sorts of new stuff I've never had before. If we don't enjoy the festival, I'll just eat fish and chips in England instead!

I'll watch for the green lanyard instead, just in case you don't get around to making the LGMH. Thankfully my geek of a husband really enjoys dealing with little gadgets, such as the laminating machine-so he did all that for me.

Sleeping in at the BC, sending our luggage over to POR, maybe going into Epcot for the day. We will be there at Epcot on Sunday and I am sure it will be really busy. So we will probably do things at Epcot and then go check into POR.



I have a question, are you going to be at Cammi's DIS meet at ESPN club on Sat. at 5:00? I saw on the weather channel this morning, that it is suppose to rain on Saturday. I think I am going to invest in some sturdier rain poncho's and an umbrella, plus I need to make a new sock and underwear run. (just tell me, "thanks for sharing").
