I LOVE MARY POPPINS! maybe because my name is Mary, but I have ALWAYS loved her! and I love Belle too And always Mickey and Minnie!!!!!

My mom is going with us in October and she is looking forward to seeing Chip n Dale!

You know, I've never met Mary Poppins! I must add her to my list - thanks for reminding me!

What a great idea for the 10 month countdown! Donald is my favorite right now...he always tries to run off with me I've always wanted to meet the Step-sisters. I think they seem like such fun! Mickey looks cute in the safari gear. Like you, I love seeing characters in clothes that are out of the ordinary. I loved going at Christmas and seeing them in their scarves and hats, etc.

Characters that I really want to meet...the penguins from Mary Poppins! I see pictures of them in other people's TR's all the time, but I have yet to see them for myself! I don't know where they're hiding but I really want to find them!

I enjoy meeting any face characters,cause they are fun to talk to! There was one trip I took with a friend where we kept seeing the same Jasmine everywhere- she actually remembered us at one point!

Donald was a favorite of ours, too! He really seemed to like Miguel whenever we met him. I bet the characters look so cute in their Christmas gear!

I like the face characters, too! It's nice to actually be able to have a conversation with them! I always feel a little awkward with the others talking to them but knowing they can't respond!

Thanks! I think the plans for the November trip are coming along nicely. It's pretty easy since it's such a short trip, you know? I'm planning on posting my itinerary this week! As for the Disneymoon, that itinerary is taking a bit more time - I've never had to plan for 10 days before!

THREE MONTHS UNTIL NOVEMBER!

For some reason, I did my four month November countdown on the 29th. I promise though, we are leaving on the 25th! So, today is three months until our trip! Can you believe that also means it’s only four months until Christmas?!

Speaking of Christmas, I think today’s countdown should focus on some Disney holiday fun! Being that we’re arriving in the world on Thanksgiving day, I debated over what holiday we should “theme” our trip around. I finally decided it wouldn’t do us any good to use Thanksgiving as a theme since we won’t be partaking in any Thanksgiving activities there. We will however, be sampling some of Disney’s Christmas specials! While we saw a lot of the park décor in January, there were some things we missed out on since we came in after the season had already ended. Unfortunatley, I feel like we can’t get a full “Christmas at Disney” experience because we aren’t going to have the time to do things like MVMCP and the Candlelight Processional. Oh well, there’s always a next time, right?!

In honor of 3 months until our trip, here are 3 special Christmas things that I would really like to do while on our trip.

1) Osborne Lights!
I already mentioned this in my four month countdown but I have to put it here as well! I’m currently thinking of scheduling us about 2 hours to take in the lights. Also, we’ll be visiting DHS on an evening EMH day so that will give us some extra time.

2) Resort Décor
I would really, really like to take the time to visit some resorts and see the Christmas décor there. Namely, Wilderness Lodge and the Grand Floridian. I so want to see that big beautiful tree that the WL is known for, and of course the gingerbread house at GF!

3) Castle Lighting
We loved seeing the castle lit up in January! This time, I would really like to see it the moment they turn the lights on – I think they do a little ceremony right?

So, while those are the top three things I’d like to accomplish, I’m definitely open to more activites. Is there anything in there that I’m missing (other than MVMCP and CP)? Also, do you think 2 hours for the OL is enough (or too much)?

I'm pretty sure there is some kind of ceremony for the tree lighting. I remember something happening while we were sitting on main street waiting for the parade to start last year. MVMCP was insanely packed last year. Even the second parade was jammed. Hmm...be sure to take a picture of all of the Christmas trees. There's one large one at every park. 4 months until Christmas!!! I better start making a list of everyone we need a gift for.
