Planning Our Happily Ever After - A Disneymoon PTR! (NEW 7/13 - TR Link!)

Even the food on the plane looks good!! What was that dessert?

One of the places I would want to go to if I ever get to Italy is the Isle of Murano.

Yay...the first Italy update! Business elite is certainly the way to travel (and make such a long flight bearable). It looks like you had a good start to your trip. Those buildings definitely look like Epcot..how cool! I'm really jealous of the gondola ride. That's something I've always wanted to do :)

That plane looks amazing! :rotfl: I would love to fly like that!

Italy looks so beautiful! :lovestruc I would really love to go there someday!

You got to fly business class?????????????????????? Oh you are so lucky!!!!

How young is your grandmother :confused3 WOW!!! She looks great for a grandmother!

That hotel room is amazing for Europe!!!!

Gondola ride looks so fun. Please tell me that the other young guy isn't your dad?!?!

Did you get any jewelry in Murano? My mom got me some blown glass earrings. It's amazing what they can do with glass :thumbsup2

Oh my gosh!!! Your pictures are gorgeous!!! Interestingly enough, I actually work at a glass museum and therefore know quite a bit about Murano, so I LOVED seeing those pictures as well! :rotfl: I can't wait to read more!!! (loving the first sets of outfits too, by the way!)

Yeah for the first Italy update!

I agree with the other readers...your Grandmother is beautiful (like you) and looks sooo young! You have good genes so don't worry about aging!!

That bathroom is amazing! What airline did you fly....was it Alitalia? Yummy food...worth the trip to Italy for that food alone - LOL!!!

I went to Atlanta once on business, we went in Janauary and it only had to wear a light jacket...I was psyched, but I guess when you come from 20 degree weather anything esle is a heat wave! I wish I could remember where I stayed...is there an area called "the perimeter" ??

Can't wait to read more!

What a great update! That airplane food looks amazing! Love all the pictures so far; looks like you're having so much fun!

Great start to your Italy trip!

I can't get over how much room you had on the plane. :lmao: Wow! Simple things amuse me. :rotfl2:

Seriously, don't worry about getting "old" if your grandmother looks that young! Super genes!

To reiterate what everyone said about the plane and food, ditto! I hate flying but I could definately fly with those amenities!

Btw, can you move up to MA so you can dress me? :rotfl: You're so stylish!

Wow Venice looks beautiful! I went there with my family in 2000, did a lot of the same things as you... isn't it strange in St Mark's Square when you're comparing it to World Showcase!

Emma princess: x

I was about to tell you how great your grandmother looks, but several other beat me to it!

Love the Italy update... so far looks like a lot of fun!

That food on the plane looks AMAZING! All I ever get on an airplane is a bag of peanuts and a stomach ache! :rotfl:

I know it's already been said, but your grandma is beautiful!!

This looks like a great trip! I can't wait to read all about it! :goodvibes

Wow, business elite looks so posh! That food actually looks really really good-- glad it tasted good, too!
That hotel is gorgeous-- what a bathroom! That picture of you and your grandmother is really lovely-- you ladies both look beautiful!

Awww, thanks! :goodvibes

The plane was so nice! And the food was amazing! I couldn't believe how much of it there was!

One of the places I would want to go to if I ever get to Italy is the Isle of Murano.

The airplane food was actually some of the best of the trip, believe it or not. The dessert was a hot fudge sundae. :thumbsup2

Murano was really neat. We didn't stay for too long but the glass factory was pretty amazing.

Yes, the business class really helped! The last time I flew to Europe we didn't do business class and it was definitely a little more uncomfortable. I felt very lucky to be traveling up front! :rotfl:

That plane looks amazing! :rotfl: I would love to fly like that!

Italy looks so beautiful! :lovestruc I would really love to go there someday!

It was a very beautiful place! I would say that Venice was probably the most scenic of the three cities we visited.

Yeah, my dad really spoiled us with the business class tickets! And yes, he is that "other young guy" in the picture on the gondola. :lmao: And my grandmother is almost 67. Doesn't she look amazing for her age?!

Sadly I didn't get any of the glass jewelry. :sad2: I actually didn't buy myself anything in Italy. I mostly bought for others - one of which was some of the jewelry for my best friend.

Thank you! :goodvibes How neat you work at a glass museum! The pieces we saw in the gallery at the factory were just amazing!

Yeah for the first Italy update!

 I certainly hope I will age as well as my grandmother!

The plane was Delta - and the food was amazing! I was so impressed. :thumbsup2

Atlanta has some great weather - but it's pretty miserable in the summer (like now). It's been so hot! And yes, there is an area called Perimeter. There's some great shopping in that area. ;)

What a great update! That airplane food looks amazing! Love all the pictures so far; looks like you're having so much fun!

Thanks, Denise! :goodvibes We were having a great time!

Great start to your Italy trip!

I can't get over how much room you had on the plane. :lmao: Wow! Simple things amuse me. :rotfl2:

Thanks! :goodvibes The amount of room we had was great. It made the flight so much better!

Seriously, don't worry about getting "old" if your grandmother looks that young! Super genes!

Btw, can you move up to MA so you can dress me? :rotfl: You're so stylish!

Yeah, I think if I'm anything like my dad or grandmother aging shouldn't be too bad. ;)

Of course I'll come up to MA! Maybe I could start a new career as a shopper! I don't know about being stylish but I do love to shop!

Wow Venice looks beautiful! I went there with my family in 2000, did a lot of the same things as you... isn't it strange in St Mark's Square when you're comparing it to World Showcase!

The first thing I thought of when we went to St. Marco's was WS! I was like...I recognize this place! :lmao:

I was about to tell you how great your grandmother looks, but several other beat me to it!

Love the Italy update... so far looks like a lot of fun!

My grandmother is definitely one classy lady! She's a great inspiration! :cloud9:

That food on the plane looks AMAZING! All I ever get on an airplane is a bag of peanuts and a stomach ache! :rotfl:

I know it's already been said, but your grandma is beautiful!!

This looks like a great trip! I can't wait to read all about it! :goodvibes

 You are too funny! That was definitely the best plane food I had ever had! (And probably will ever have). I tend to get the peanuts mostly too! :lmao:

Your grandmother is 67???? She looks great for 67 but ya, that explains it. My DAD would have been 65 this year!

Did I read something about you coming to Mass to dress Jen (Jennifer48)? Fabulous since we live walking distance from each other...you can do my Ireland wardrobe while you are at it!

10 MONTHS!!!

Well, the time has come for another countdown! Today marks 10 months until our disneymoon! Once again, the wedding seems to be coming on way too quickly (there's still so much to do!) while the disneymoon seems so far away!

In honor of 10 months, I thought I could share 10 characters that Miguel and I are looking forward to meeting while on our honeymoon! We probably won't have a lot of time for character greetings on our short November trip, but we should have plenty of time on the disneymoon!

In no particular order:

1. Mickey! I especially love seeing him in his special outfits. I think the safari get-up might be the cutest!

2. Ariel. Our conversation with her on our engagement celebration trip was great! She had us cracking up!

3. Goofy. We always seem to have the best character interactions with Goofy - like being proposed to in January!

4. Pooh. Probably my favorite. I just love how sweet he looks!

5. Pooh's friends! All of them - I just love the whole Pooh gang!

6. Donald. He's another one that really impressed us on our January trip. He and Miguel became fast friends!

7. Tinkerbelle. I've never met any of the fairies before! Are they still around with the construction going on?

8. Sleeping Beauty. Or as I like to call her, Miguel's girlfriend. :lmao:

9. Snow White. I couldn't believe how in character she was when we met her at Akershus!

10. The ugly step-sisters. I've never met them before either! I think they would be a lot of fun!

These certainly aren't all the characters I'm planning on meeting next June, but they're definitely the highlights! Who are some of your character must-do's each trip? Anyone kind of out of the ordinary you think I'm forgetting?

Yeah, she's definitely a younger grandmother. We have lots of fun together though, so it's really nice. :goodvibes

 I'll pencil you in for some Ireland shopping. ;)
