Plan Ahead with Lightning Lane Entry at Walt Disney World Starting July 24

Please let us know how it goes. I don't think anyone has yet reported if a split stay between a Disney-owned resort and an "other select hotels" (i.e. one with 7-days-before booking privileges) works as smoothly as when staying at two Disney-owned resorts.

I was just able to buy for 1/4/25 and 1/5/25 with my split stay between the Swan and Poly. That was easy and I did get morning times so that should set me up to get night ones later. As soon as I tap into my first ride I'll start fiddle faddling for night ones with my tier 2's. ;) ;)

My apologies if this has already been asked but did anyone else booking for New Year's week not having Living with the Land as an option? It wouldn't show up for multiple days for me this morning.
Similar thing happened when it turned into glittering greenhouses. Even though it would be open it wasn’t bookable until closer in or maybe after the change actually happened? This used to happen with DAS pre-selects as well, (I’m starting to suspect Disney’s system isn’t able to handle offering booking options for the same ride under a different name at the same time.)

Can we control which pass gets used if we got a multi experience pass? Don’t wasn’t to use the MEP before our scheduled passes. Searched but couldn’t find the answer. Thanks

I have one more question for all you very knowledgeable folks.
Can I purchase my LLMP's the night before (after midnight) and then make my ride reservations the next morning at 7am? Or does it all have to be done at the same time?

Why would you want to do this? Would you still be planning to make your selections 7 day in advanced (on-site) or 3 days in advance (off-site) before your day-of park visit?

You make up to 3 selections and purchase in a single step. However you are only required to select 1 attraction for you LLMP purchase. Also you are able to change your Park selection and LLMP attractions before you enter a park.

Since no else has answered I’ll throw this in, even though I don’t have experience with this with LLMP. The system used to have a hierarchy, and would automatically use the correct pass (I can’t remember if it was DAS or Genie+ or FP+ we did this with) IF you were within your time window for your non-MEP. DO NOT try to use the grace period, early or late, for your LLMP. We were literally 30 seconds early for our Genie+ (or whichever it was), and we didn’t realize until a few minutes later that the system had used our MEP instead of the correct pass. Once we started making absolutely sure we were within our time windows, we never had another problem. But to be perfectly safe, I would probably check MDE immediately after scanning in every time to make sure your MEP is still there.

LLSP for Tron and 7 Dwarfs are sold out thru 12/31 at MK. RotR is sold out today thru 12/30 and on 1/1 as HS. Remy LLMP is out today thru 12/31 at Epcot

Thank you so much for this reply! I’m sorry to hear that happened to you as well but that helps me understand the issue. I really appreciate it!

Your overlapping plans include 4 LLMPs, including two Tier 1s*; that isn't allowed. Also, the time periods for Dumbo and Under the Sea would each be an hour long. So, I guess we are only talking about a hypothetical situation. If you actually had those five start times, I was going to suggest moving one of the middle times (such as Under the Sea at 10:30) to a later time. Under the Sea and Dumbo should be readily available at later times.

I would recommend not scheduling your rides too close together. But if you ever do wind up in a situation where it is 30-60 minutes after the LLMP expiration time, I suggest going to the attraction and trying to tap in. Some people have gotten green lights at the tapstile when that late, although you can't necessarily count on it. I remember an Earscouts video where Rob said he asked a cast member how long the grace period was and he was basically told "it depends." But even if you get a blue light, and it becomes a question of cast member discretion, having delays caused by young kids is often treated as a reasonable excuse.

* - I realize Tiana's could be a VQ instead of an LLMP. But you wouldn't have a definite return period until your boarding group was called. And I believe there is more flexibility for being late to a VQ than for the LLMP of the same ride.
Thank you. My times are for 3 people and 1 of us is doing Peter Pan instead of Tiana’s so that’s why and I put the times that our fast passes overlap for other attractions instead of the actual start times. Thank you!

If you have a valuable MEP and don't want to risk it, stop at a blue umbrella. I have had no problem asking CMs to convert a MEP to a specific eligible attraction pass to be safe, it usually only takes them a minute to do!

Yes you will be turned away from the Rivera in the morning without an ADR. If you want to ride the Skyliner to Epcot ask the RS to drop you off at HS parking lot and take the Skyliner from there to the IG at Epcot.

Dave
Which would you think would be easier? Being dropped off at Hollywood studios parking lot or the Swan and Dolphin in order to do early entry rope drop at IG. We will be staying Port Orleans Riverside.

I don’t believe either will be ‘easier’ but Swan and Dolphin is closer to IG.

Swan is easier and it is smaller than the Dolphin to walk thru to the walkway along Crescent Lake. HS parking lot can backup in the morning until the CMs are ready to allow Ride shares (Uber/Lyft) when the parking opens in the morning for drop-off.

The drop-off at the Swan is technically open 24/7 so no waiting to enter the driveway.

For HS I believe rideshare uses the bus entrance now instead of the regular parking lot booths. But either way Swan/Dolphin are closer to Epcot than HS.

Thank you so much!

I am sure this has been asked and answered throughout this thread, so I apologize ahead of time. We had to change plans slightly at the last minute and just needed to know- can we book Lightening lane passes for a park we plan to hop to, i.e. not the one we have reservations for. I’m thinking I remember we cannot but wanted to confirm. Thank you!

Yes you can book for any park. It does not need to be the firs park you enter. Note: It is possible that you can't change your Park reservation if your selected parks no longer has park reservations available.

If you are AP holders or have older un-dated tickets you will need to make a park reservation first for the park that you want to purchase LLMP but you can change your park reservation right after you make your first 3 LLMP selections and pay.
