To tell you the truth I would rather see Dumbo land axed than PH. Dumbland doesn't really fit in FL.

I don't know if you have little girls or not but my girls love Silvermist and Rosetta the best. Most of their fairy items are of those 2 not Tink. Also it is no fun to have Tink and not her friends. They were also very happy to see Terrence the last time we went.

I can not imagine they would scrap Pixie Hollow especially when they are coming out with more "fairy" movies.

My daughter also loves the other fairies MORE than Tinkerbell. She completely ignored Tink until the other fairies came out!

Yep. My DD likes Tinkerbell, but Silvermist is by far her favorite. She's really hoping to meet her when we go next.

It is rumored that Tinks new M&G will be the vaccant Skyway station near PPF. I am sure the others will be there as well.

Do I (and the many, many others in this thread) count as "no one"? Because it seems to me that between this thread and the other ones flying around cyberspace that there are quite a few people that find this very believable.

I think that old Skyway is a perfect place for a Fairy M&G - it's already kind of raised above everything, so you could convert it into a "treehouse" type of thing pretty easily. It's also not far from Peter Pan so perhaps that corner of FL could be developed into a Neverland sort of feel...

I agree it is a perfect fit, it is right near PPF and being that it is raised WDI could have fun with the whole shrinking thing.

I will take everything with a grain of salt right now... Disney changes things all the time and until it is released from Disney itself i dont believe anything... But on the other hand no matter what happens with the construction I will continue to go to Disney and love it just the same

I think it's definitely a possibility. The reasons cited previously and in the Jim Hill article aside (such as the oversaturation of princesses & fairies), who's to say that maybe someone didn't just came up with a better idea? Walt himself once that if the janitor had a good idea about something, he would use it. So it's entirely possible that they decided at the last minute to change things either because something they planned didn't quite fit once they actually started construction, or maybe they just worked out something they liked better than the original idea.

This sounds like a really cool idea. I think it would fit well there.

Those of us who were mentioning the other fairies were reacting to this:

PH is not popular the only stuff that sells is TINK. They will adress this as well. The old Skyway station near PPF might be converted into a Tink Meet & Greet.

And I would strongly disagree that Tinkerbell is the only popular fairy.

I agree on the location too, it makes a lot of sense and there is actually quite a bit of room in that building for more than just Tink

Hopefully if this does happen they build a stroller parking area somewhere as it would be desperately needed.

I'm still waiting to hear it from Robo too.

But in the mean time, my DS likes the fairies, now of course he is only 4, so I'm sure that will be going away soon. But there is some appeal to small boys. And his favorite is Silvermist, not Tink. Now if Tink wore blue, then she would be his favorite...it's all about the color.

I agree and think that would be really cool. When Disney unveiled their expansion, I honestly felt it was a bit much in the girl power department. So I'm all for a scaled back version of the girl stuff especially if it means more stuff being added for boys.

Like many other posters I agree Tink isn't the favorite of everyone. In fact while we love Tink she actually ranks below the others in terms of favorites.

I love Disney and will love it no matter what they decide to do. Although I am dreading having to tell DD if they do in fact cancel their plans for PH.

OP I would deeply appreciate it if you could stop saying "PH is dead" - I understand your thoughts/ announcement but it's like you're pounding a hammer every time you say it. Could you possibly rephrase somehow so you're not implying something actually died?

Ducktales Land would be awesome! They should have a land for all those Disney Afternoon cartoons i.e. Ducktales, Darkwing Duck, Tail Spins, Chip n' Dale Rescue Rangers, Gummi Bears, etc.) That would be pretty sweet, and much better than any variation of PH.

And again, I was thinking the same thing. A Ducktales land would be fantastic! I think Scrooge has been the best WDW we have met!
