Has anyone seen block party bash? If you have than where are the best spots to watch the parade from? Will be in WDW next week. Any help is appreciated.

I saw the parade/show/party last Thursday. We sat at the old ABC theater on the curve end of the stairs.

The "Bash" stops and performs twice. The parade starts at 3pm and makes it to the second location around 3:20pm. It starts at the front of the park and Stops at the end of the street. After it finishes there, it drives around and stops between the big hat and Star Tours.

It is basicly three sections-
1 Toy Story
2 Monsters Inc
3 Bugs Life

The first stop would have Bugs Life near the front gate Monsters in the center of block and Toy Story at the end of the block near the big hat.
The second stop has the same order, Bugs near the hat, Monsters near the old ABC theater and the Toys up near Star Tours.

I hope this helps. Where we sat, we were at the front end of the Monster float.

I'm not all that familiar with the Studios, but I would like to be able to see the Monsters float as much as possible. It was my daughter's favorite movie for such a long time.

Can you throw me a bit more info about the old ABC Theater and where that is located in the park. Maybe you could just give me a landmark or two around there so I could look for it on our upcoming trip!

I've watched it and recieved the best spot to watch the parade from a Cast Member at DHS. He told me to stand in front of the fountain and tip board along Hollywood Blvd. We arrived 30 minutes before the parade started in front of the fountain and got a great spot along the street/curb.

It was a great spot. We could see the floats up and down the street with limited obstruction from other guests. I'd recommend it to anyone.

If you are walking from the Hat to Star Tours, the old ABC theater is the first building on your right. If you come to the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences Hall of Fame Plaza (all the bronze heads), you've gone too far.

Which section is the characters from Cars in it...or are they even in it? My dd3 keeps insisting we do a character meal with McQueen. I figured I'd have to get her to at least see him.

This is where we caught the parade. Great spot. :thumbsup2

Thanks, Aaron! I've been meaning to research a good viewing spot for this parade forever & kept forgetting. This sounds perfect :thumbsup2

Pixar Parade is one of my favorites

The dancers work their little tushies off
:dance3:

Check the park map (or ask a cm) for the stars section of the parade route.
The dancers invite kids to come dance with them.
I had to keep reminding DD
"wait until they *invite* you"
she was ready to jump in right from the very begining.

She had a fantastic time.
Future parade dancer maybe? :rolleyes1

enjoy!
