Pirate Night Timeline

I just booked the pirates league in the BBB for my son for pirates night...I bookrd a 3:45 appointment and it says it will last half an hour. We're at Castaway Cay that day...should I try to book a later appt? There's one open at 5:45...what time do the Pirates night festivities usually start? Is there regular dining that night or what is dinner like?

Just wondering if I should try to push his appointment back...thanks!

I'm assuming this is a 3-4 night cruise on the Dream. Generally you can expect:

Normal dinner times.
7:30-800 (between the dinners) Is the Mickey dance party on the pool deck.
Then normal dinner time.
1030-1130. Captn Jack Bucanneer Blast show, dance party, and midnight buffet.

Dinner will be the pirates menu in all three main dining rooms if a 4 night cruise. Otherwise standard rotational.

We will be on the Fantasy western Caribbean, and from what I've read that means Pirate Night will be while we're in Cozumel.

I am also planning on my child doing BBB, we will do an excursion that day, so is there a preferred time to be back on the ship?

The best time to be back on the ship is before she sets sail from the dock!

I would recommend allowing enough time from the excursion to get showered up and cleaned up before the BBB appointment. Don't want the make up effects to smudge or smear because the skin is too oily! The other consideration is that it may cut into dining if you have main seating or the show if you have second seating.

Is this a Star Wars at Sea cruise? I'm not well versed on the itineraries, but usually cozumel is on Day 3 meaning it should be standard rotational dining. Day 5 is Pirates, though your cruise meet group might have better ideas based on the exact itinerary. I would expect though that the evening would be quite similar. 7:45 PM Mickey show, fireworks blast off party at 1030.

Nope not a Star Wars cruise. 11/26/15 from Port Canaveral. My cruise group page on disboards is pretty much non existent. I rarely see anyone post there.

You want to do some pictures before dinner, I think 5:45 is too late. I would do 3:45. No one stays at castaway cay very late, it is pretty empty by 3. Go big on pirate night, that goes for mom and dad too.
