PIN and discounts.

I have 2 pins (one for my wife) and at the same time there's 30% off at Coronado springs.
Is the DDP appilcable in combination with a room rate reduction? We'll be there December 8th through the 14th.

Basically, can you get a free dining plan with the pin AND the reduced resort room special?

Simply answer, NO. Discounts can not be combined. Free dining is only available if you pay RACK RATE for your resort room.

You can either get a room discount or free dining but not both on the same reservation. You have to crunch numbers and figure out which discount is better for your family.

Now, how would I figure out the dining plan value?

You can run the reservation with/without dining to know what your savings is for that discount. And the same is true for the room discount, run it with the discount and without the discount.

I usually find I can do that faster then trying to remember how much the dining plan costs, and then finding the website that has it listed , since I usually forget to just write it down.

How do you get a PIN? Is there anything I can do to increase my chances of being offered one?

I signed up at the Disney website back in March, two different emails, one for me and one for my wife.
In July I got two pins, one for each of us, for the free dining plan.

After registering on their website in March, I also ordered their free DVD.
