Here are some pictures that I took tonight of the Osborne Lights.

I like the layout this year better than in years past. The street is divided. You walk down the street and turn left and then left again to see the lights. There is a lot more room to walk in.

It was snowing on the street and there was different Christmas music playing along the street.

Keep in mind these pictures were taken without a tripod. I will be going back to improve my skills in the dark. :)

Just got home also and I thought the light were very good. You got some nice pictures. :) Thanks for sharing

Thanks for posting!
One week from today and we will be there!!:hyper:

Thanks for the great pictures!

As of today, I can say we are going at the end of next week! I had a 2 day business trip to Orlando at the end of last week, it made the anticipation even harder to stand! So close but so far....

Thanks for posting. So jealous. Wish I could just hop over and look at the lights.:D

Great photos. It looks really nice this year! Can't wait to see it live!

I've heard about the special glasses that are handed out to view the Osborne lights. There were none last night. Does any know if they plan on using them this year?

Beautiful pictures! We can't wait to see the Osborne lights. Thanks for sharing them with us!

I did read somewhere that, yes, they are planning to use the 3D glasses. Possibly won't be available until the 'official' date of 11/24

BTW, your pictures are awesome! I was there last month as they were putting the lights up - what a job!!! What kind of camera did you use? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing safetymom! Great photos! I was wondering how it would look with the display being moved from Residential Street. Still amazing and looking forward to seeing them in a few weeks!

I'm also curious as to what camera you used. ALSO-what time did you walk through? It didn't look terribly crowded. I remember the opening at 6pm in 2002 (in early Dec.) it was a mob scene (we snuck out & had dinner at MM and came back after and it was empty). But, looks like the street is much more "people friendly" to walk down. Where did they have the snow falling? Loved that last time (dd has never seen snow and she'd REALLY appreciate it this time LOL!)

would you believe I've been to WDW TWICE during the holidays and never seen these?

I'm INSISTING on it this trip!

thanks so much for sharing! :)

thanks for posting those - it will have to hold me over until Dec 2005!

Wow! We just got home last night; we left yesterday morning.
I was at MGM on Saturday night. I didn't think the lights were lit yet. I did see them on display, just not lit up. I thought that they were going to get turned on Nov. 24?!?! I can't believe that they were on last night!!!!!! We should have stayed the extra night just to see them!!!!!!!!!!:(

They haven't opened officially yet. When I went the other day because it was supposed to be an AP preview and wasn't the CM told me that the lights would be on Sun, Mon, Tues but wouldn't be publicized.

Did you use a digital? If so, what was the setting you used? Thanks!

Yes it is a digital camera. I had it on program since it was the first time with this camera I had taken a lot of pictures in the dark.
