<p><b>We were now on our way to the far end of World Showcase, having spent
about an hour at China, AZKathy, her hubby, Doug, 2 DD's, Megan and Mandy and
DS, Matt.  We were having a great afternoon together.  Kathy has been
on the DIS as long as I and it was nice finally getting to meet her and have
some nice time with her and her family. </b></p>

<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3162.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>

<p><b>In the kid's area set up for the Flower and Garden Festival, topiaries of
all types abound.  Here Matt is hiding behind Luminere. </b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3165.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Moving along, we spent some time walking through the shops in
Germany.  As always, I tend to look up.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3166.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3169.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>But there is many interesting things at eye level also.  </b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3170.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Pretty, isn't it?</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3171.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>The clocks always sound neat on the quarter, half and full hours.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3172.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>This CM was working with these kids, helping them make their masks.
I always enjoy watching the CM interplay with the children at WDW.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3176.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>As we left Germany, these beautiful clouds silhouetted one of the Epcot
banners.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3177.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>I always enjoy seeing the miniature train and village and its
ever-changing scenes as the seasons change throughout the year.  The detail
is amazing.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3178.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>The clouds rolled in and made some interesting backdrops.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3182.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Time for a break in the shade of the portico at Italy.  Here mom
Kathy takes care of the brood, Doug, Matt and Megan.  Mandy is hidden by
papa Doug.  A nice family they are.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3183.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>The shops at Italy are also enticing, and photo ops abound.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3185.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3188.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Color, an Italian ingredient</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3189.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Again, from under the portico, the very engaging Spaceship Earth, framed
by an Italian column, Disney style.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3191.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Sergio, the Italian juggler, 'rows' into the plaza on his box of tricks,
for 15 minutes of fun.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3192.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Inside one of the shops, Mandy takes a little break to rest here weary
feet, but I am able to get a little smile from her.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3195.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>While we walk past the American Adventure (we would be coming back), the
Mickey and Minnie topiaries on the big drum were so very cute looking.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3196.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And Old Glory, well, what can you say?!?!?!?!?!</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3198.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>The often photographed Japanese torii gate, a perfect frame for Spaceship
Earth, this time with some pretty clouds for more effect.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3200.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Hello Kitty in the Mitsukoshi Department Store.  Why does she not
have a mouth??</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3201.jpg" width="337" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And Sailor Moon, a favorite of Malarie, DD of my DIS friend, Rhonda.
I know whenever we visit Japan with Rhonda and her family, we are there a long
time.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3203.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Again, this time a bit more panoramic.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3205.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>As with all of World Showcase, Japan offers so much for the camera.
I really enjoy it there.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3206.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>And here, I again look up, at the hanging lamps, way up on the second
floor of the Mitsukoshi building.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3207.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>Again, with a different lighting effect.</b></p>

<p><b>We head back to the American Adventure, here to listen to the Voices of
Liberty, and as always, they are wonderful.</b></p>

<p><b>A large youth group, with great seats, learning a bit of our American
heritage.</b></p>

<p><b>So true.</b></p>
<p><b><img src="http://dmurphydis.com/WDWMay2002/27/DSCN3233.jpg" width="600" height="450"></b></p>
<p><b>America, a great country, isn't it?????</b></p>

<p><b>We left the American Adventure, to head back to the area around Germany,

<p><b>A look back across Showcase Lagoon, the clouds are indeed magnificent,
Spaceship Earth a blackened orb.</b></p>

Thanks, Dan, for another great set of pictures!

Nice pictures Dan!!

Nice to "Meet" AZKathy and her family! :smooth:

As always wonderful pictures Dan.

Those clouds were absolutely beautiful that day. I truly enjoyed these, including being able to see more of AZKathy & her family. Thanks so much :)

Very nice pictures Dan! I'm now glad you are spacing these out, as it's a nice treat every couple weeks or so;)

Thanks Dan, for sharing:D

Very nice as always Dan. Great seeing news faces!

So much fun! I love the music choice too. Epcot is playful, grand, and always changing.... one of my favorite places in the world. (of course just about all of it is my "favorite"!)

Great Pics Dan
and the music is always fitting to the pictures you display

Oh! those makes me "homesick" for my parks! Was that the day Chris and I were supposed to meet you for that Tapestry meet? We went to Germany shortly before both evening parades with no luck! How on earth did we miss you? We were seated by the benches in Germany right where the 2 parades meet.

Touring the world showcase with other DISers is so much fun. Love these photographs, Dan :)

Vilvaldi-The Four Seasons Music with a very special place in my heart. I'll have to tell you sometime.

Thanks for the DISmeet with AZKathy and her family! Great pictures as usual Dan!
