NEW Disney Gift Card Deals and More.

FWIW - purchasing a physical DGC at CVS with my Chase Visa did NOT trigger the chase offer for 10% back.

So definitely YMMV.
I purchased mine on the fifth. I noticed the credit early today, and got the email about it a few hours later. But also, I’m not a risk taker and always add on an inexpensive item so it’s not an even amount. I’m sure it’s not necessary, but it’s always something I need anyhow, like a greeting card. How many days has it been since you purchased the card?

When did you buy it? I've never had it not work but I often don't get emails that I've used a chase offer until after I've gotten the credit for it.
They do take a bit to post, it's not instant or even a coouple of days after.

BOA Cash rewards 3% online category plus Platinum Honors is the most under the radar of all CC plays in my opinion. Only problem is the 2500 per quarter max. Easy work around by getting more than one.

If you are a BoA Preferred Rewards member link you get bonuses on credit card rewards. The bonus you get depends on your Tier which is dependent on the amount of assets held at BoA/Merrill Lynch.
You two inspired me to get another BoA card today.

I just bought 5 Disney gift cards at a combination of CVS, SHop Rite and Dollar General. They are all the hard plastic cards bought from off the rack at the stores.

What is the thought on moving or consolidating them? If I enter them at the Disney gift card site and confirm the values, should I leave them as they are? Or should I move them to another card? I have a couple of cards I bought from BJ's a while back that have no value on them right now and only have the original purchase and transfer.

I ordered a physical gift card from Disney but won't get ion until later next week. I can wait until then and then transfer.

Alternatively, I'll actually be down in Disney on 5/25 and can buy a card there and transfer to that.

I am interested in thoughts on the best thing to do.

Whatever you feel safest with. Personally I consolidate the money within a couple days of getting the cards onto gift cards I purchased straight from ShopDisney. I feel that is the safest method as I don't want the funds disappearing from the card I recently purchased before I get them onto a ShopDisney card.

I am aware that if the card gets caught up in some sort of stolen batch that could result in a freeze of the card I'm consolidating the funds onto but we have literally only 1 DP of that happening and there were some weird things there- and frankly if that's gonna happen I'd rather it happen sooner than later.

Just got a new earn $10 after two $50 purchases deal with Target Circle Got to love when the spend is a multiple of $25.
Usually I get something like spend $110 twice. LOL
Thanks for the heads-up! Nothing for us right now but we’ll check again tomorrow!

Good point regarding getting multiple Custom Cash Rewards cards. Also, you want to add a BOA Unlimited Cash Rewards card to the mix. With Platinum Honors that card gives you 2.625% cash back on everything so that becomes your floor for anything that falls outside the 3.5% and 5.25% categories.
Have all their cards! Our major banking and brokerage is through BOA so it's our bread and butter as a catch all for cash back.

Do their travel cards provide good value to you? We don’t have one yet and are wondering if we should. Currently, our only travel cards
are airline- and hotel-specific.

Ran my morning errands and got 10% off $200 of disney giftcards (assuming it all tracks which it has done at both of these places for me before.

Dollar General 3 x $50 (each of my 3 Chase cards had 10% off DG)
CVS 1 x $50 (only 1 of my Chase cards had this 10% off CVS)

I love it when all 3 cards have the same 10% off, one stop at DG, 3 different transactions.

BTW it was the card with no annual fee (Disney Chase Visa) that had the double of DG and CVS, so with just that one card I made two $50 purchases this morning. the other 2 chase cards are worth the annual fee since I use them to earn the SW companion pass (SW personal and business), but they only had the DG offer, not CVS.

Just got an email from Sam’s Club that $200 Disney GC was back in stock but when you click link it just goes to Sam’s site but doesn’t show the card available.
It should be available soon, if not already but it will likely revert to the $190 price (which still isn't too bad - after CC points it is better than the target price).

Looks like the Acme buy $50 get $10 off your next shopping deal goes through 5/15. I bought one on 5/5 when I saw it in last week's circular, which gave me a coupon to use for shopping through 5/22. Does anyone know if I can get another one this week for next week's shopping? I'll be headed there later to see if the terms in store or more clear.

FWIW, I bought my Disney gift cards at CVS on 5/7, and just got the emails today 5/11 that the offer was redeemed. Same for the DG offer.

Smart & Final -
$20 coupon for future shopping trip when purchasing $100 or more on participating gift cards.
5/7-5/13/25 for gift card purchase, coupon must be redeemed by 5/20/25.
Full offer and multi page list of gift cards
Offer good on all gift cards except: VISA, Mastercard, Apple, Amazoni,The Home Depot, Starbucks, Open Loop, Telecom, Tracfone, Net-10 and Smart & Final gift cards.
Note: Smart and Final used to have Disneyland tickets as part of this list, but not Disney gift cards, that has swapped, which is excellent in my opinion.
This has been awesome. They've run out of DGCs at mine, they didn't have too much to start with, but they have a pretty good selection of other stuff so time to spread out the savings lol.

Love how fast you can use the coupons! I haven't tried turning around and using it the same day (there is nothing on the receipt that says you can't but when I tried that in the past the coupon didn't work yet) but I've been using the coupon the next day no issues- except of what to buy as I did my S&F run right before this coupon- so now I have so many paper goods it looks I have a Covid Era hoarder problem.

When BJs includes an extra $500 GC in your order...
Epic. Merch sent to you is yours by law... but I would think they would be ok to claw back the value if they were capable of it, hmmm...

Had an issue with Sam's once when they lost my DGCs and refunded them and then they showed up like a month later. I did chose to contact Sam's who said they were mine to keep and I used them no issues (but even then I didn't add them online at all, knowing what we know now I also wouldn't use them for anything other than in-park purchases.)
