Mine for today...a stroll down mainstreet..

Interesting... I like to check stats on my posts, and was just looking at the limited stats I have available on PhotoBucket.

I post my POTD here, and also at my Animus page, which I announce on Twitter and FB.

Twitter gets me 10 to 13 instant hits: FB gets me 3-10 hits over the first hour or so: and over the days and weeks, each image on Animus will grow to between 50-100+ hits.

Here, I see only the same folks each day, more or less, and receive the occasional comment, and it seems as if little is happening; however, according to the hit counter on Photo Bucket, I am getting (and you too, cause it must count each time a page is loaded as my images do not load without yours!) anywhere from 50-150 hits per day! An image I posted 4 days ago now has 440 "views".

Makes it a bit more satisfying.

:)

We love to see your pictures - several (!!!) of which are in the !!WOW!!! category!.. Love your 'rain' picture above with the photopass lady! Was that this weekend? Not too many people around, but that's ok... less people to 'accidently step into' your pictures.. hehehe

Jud - I am one of your daily hits. I never comment here because I am no photographer so I don't post pics. But I always look at this thread because it gives me a dose of Disney every day. I bet there are many, many more like me.

As I entered Epcot on the 8th of October, soley for the purpose of seeing Roger Hodgson in concert at The American Gardens Theater for two nights, it was still raining and while there were multitudes streaming out of the International Gateway, I was the only person heading in, well protected by my 3M treated rainsuit and plastic "cowboy" hat from Wal-mart, purchased several years earlier for Mickey's Haloween Party. (Ya, I looked good!)

As I passed by the store at the IG, I saw three Photopass Photographers huddled under the awning chatting happily among themselves! I "yelled" at them it was time to go to work and one of them asked if I wanted a picture with France as a lovely background?

I replied, "Mai qui!" adding, "But I shall need a beautiful girl!" and "dragged" one of them out with me!

The rain continued throughout the night, and though that will usually empty the parks, this is the Food & Wine festival and I must say, the "fan's" are a determined bunch! it was still quite crowded even after Illuminations!

It did keep most of the uncovered seats in the theater empty, though there were a few courageous souls who did accept the conditions for the great pleasure of hearing Roger's angelic voice!

:)

Jud, I too am looking at everyone's pictures on this thread daily- sometimes 2 or 3 times a day! I'm no photographer so I don't post, but rest assured that your photos (and everyone else's) really brighten my day! Thanks so much for taking them and then taking the time to post them! I appreciate it!

Using my old ones because in a little more than three weeks I will have new ones.
