I miss that ride, we were there in '83 and I made my parents stand in the rain for half an hour or more just to ride it.


Of course I miss "If You Had Wings" too.

The submarine ride petrified me as a kid. I was convinced I was going to die underwater in that darn sub!

Been such a long time fan of this thread with so many great pictures! After our most recent trip to WDW, I finally ditched the point and shoot, and bought a T2i to get things started as a beginner. I can't wait till I get back to WDW (and DLR in October) to try out my upgraded camera, but in the mean time, thought I'd share some from my now retired point-shoot camera from our trip in April which is nowhere as good as the pics on this thread

Cyndiella: Thank you! I got lucky with that one. We were standing on the deck for the resort launches at Poly. It just happened that the monorail train stopped right at the position to wait for the one in front to clear the platform. Love the oldie pics!

Thanks! The only Disney pics I have are ones my hubby took, and most of them are not his best work because he was doing them on my request. But photographing the fireworks was his idea, and I think he does a good job with them.

Great shot! Where did you take this from?

That was in the Haunted Mansion line. Before the split that goes to the interactive queue area. The queue bends around to the entrance to the left. It was shot with a wide angle (GoPro camera) so it looks a little different that what you might be used to.
