Kaewin: what is that stuff surrounding the spires on the castle? Is that a peter pan flying around it... Any special occasion for that? Don't see it on Jud's wonderful evening shot of the castle..
ps... hope the family is all rested up and are looking forward to your next trip!

You see that God awful gold thing attached to the front of the castle? That was there for the Happiest Celebration on Earth back in 2005. They had characters all over the castle and that huge photo frame on the front over the entrance. But thank goodness it wasn't as bad as the birthday cake debacle.

I was thinking the family shot is early to mid afternoon and everyone is simply 'done'! Break time! if you have kids, leave at 2! Trust me on this! You can come back later, but after 2, you are pushing it!

And my shot... was MID DAY!!! Yes! It was an incredible day for light! Very strange skies! Got a lot of special shots from that day!

As to the castle decorations, in mine it is 'clean'; in Kaewins, that was a couple of years ago- forget the name of that year's celebration, but the castle was all decked out in it for the whole year. Parts of it were quite wonderful I thought!
