Some great places you have visited but I didn't see Alpine Tunnel or Needle's Eye/Rollins Pass on your map.My latest shadowbox showing pins from the places I have visited in Colorado; can't wait to add more!

You've listed some places I would like to see too! But they keep closing Mount Blue Sky (Mount Evans with it's already short open season!)) and I've also found that many of the more obscure or large general places like Berthoud Pass don't have enamel pins to collect. Some great places you have visited but I didn't see Alpine Tunnel or Needle's Eye/Rollins Pass on your map. Those are on my list... someday.
Only Grand Junction area. I visited Colorado national Monument (sort of, it was closed for a gov't shutdown) and the nearby Colorado River. My plan is to ride my mtn bike up to Needles eye. Not sure that is realistic. You've listed some places I would like to see too! I do have a list of lesser known places like Bishop Castle, Paint Mines, and Wheeler Geologic Area on my Colorado bucket list.
Which places in Colorado have you been to?
The Grand Junction area is impressive with its Book Cliffs and I really like the Colorado National Monument for the less popular but beautiful views of the Colorado Plateau. It is so often overlooked too.Only Grand Junction area. I visited Colorado national Monument (sort of, it was closed for a gov't shutdown) and the nearby Colorado River. Here is my best photo of Colorado Monument. Our hosts (business trip) had a cookout by the river since the monument was closed. The Grand Junction area is impressive with its Book Cliffs and I really like the Colorado National Monument for the less popular but beautiful views of the Colorado Plateau. I don't know about you but it's hard enough for me to make my 10,000 steps a daybut if you ever get out here again do it! Biking is very popular around here in the Springs and in Colorado in general.
END summer vacation??? Heck, it hasn't started yet!Good way to end summer vacation; cooling off on Kali Rapids before dinner with cousins from Louisiana who arrived yesterday.
