I need some advice.
I currently manage my pictures using Windows Explorer.
I backup to a external hard drive that stays connected to my computer.
I am getting ready to back up all of my picutres to a jump drive(s)to put in the safe deposit box.
However, I was wanting something a little bit more than the Windows Explorer. I was looking at Creative Memories memory manager. It seems neat. What are your opinions? Are there other products out there that are as good or are better? If I get the download, can it be moved to another computer (we are getting ready to switch, but most of my pictures are on that computer, so can I organize then switch everything)?
Also, do you all use any online backup services? Which ones? (not talking about just uploading to Snapfish, Shutterfly, etc.). I mean a true online backup where if your enitre home backup method crashes, you have another source you can go to get the "actual" files back. I know with Snapfish, you can reprint all you want but you don't really get the actual file back.
I would love to hear how others manage their photos.
Thank you!
