So I called just to double check.. It's aug 19-sep 15th at least at this moment in time it is.. I ask how likely it would be they would move it up? She said it would be highly unlikely, cuz they would have to call everyone with appointments and cancel. Hope this makes everyone feel better..

Good to know! Even though we don't have an appt coming up, it was really frustrating that they'd let people make appts THIS week for when I was told they were closed.

I'm still really curious why they'd go to all the trouble of these new styles and even the blog announcement, only to close the store a month later and not do any makeovers. Maybe they'll reopen with only these as options as part of the Frozen store? Or they'll be moving them to BBB? Or they're opening another makeover store some place else? One can hope that these may be possibilities, right?

Well it looks like this may well be a moot point shortly if Studio 365 is closing down! But for what it's worth here are the photos of the "Spotlight" hairstyle that my DD and DN had done in Oct 13. This style was $39.95, so I think the most expensive one, but included the top hats that you see them wearing. I had been wanting to buy the top hats anyway, so that made it reasonable!













From the front they look quite plain as you can really only see the hat and a bit of the 'bun' coming out the side. LOTS of gel. Both girls wore theirs to the Halloween party that night, DD took hers out after that and DN kept the french plait and twist, and the colour streaks but took the bun out and just had it as a ponytail for the next day or two.

They were very fun and the girls liked the styles. I had read about the mini photoshoot type thing as well, but they didn't do that, or seem to really have anywhere to do it. They did take the girls to the front of the store and 'interview' them a bit as if they were on t.v., but the girls were both a bit embarrassed for that! No Photopass photographers, but obviously you can take your own photos, or if you go into DCA or DLR get Photopass photos taken at any of the usual spots there.

YES!!!! DD had I think shorter hair then what you are describing. They essentially ball it all up and then add the hair pieces. She was Jasmine twice and Rapunzel once. All with shorter hair!!

She had not heard it was closing at all or that the makeover aspect was ending, so she put me on hold to check. She said it is going down for a "refurbishment" on August 19 and when it re-opens it will be different and probably will not have the same name, but they will still be doing makeovers there...so who knows.

Oh no! I hope the rumors aren't true. We're taking our first trip in November and I planned to take DD. She would be so into this over BBB. Fingers crossed!!!

In August 2013 my girls got BBB makeovers. They both got Mickey barrettes and tiaras. The Mickey barrettes are pink rhinstones. Super cute. It seems they are continually changing how they do things. In 2011 my oldest DD had a BBB makeover and just got the tiara, no barrette. Also, in August there was photopass photographers. I had photopass+.

I really hope there is still a makeover place in DTD. It's nice to have options. I'm totally willing to splurge and get the Castle package just to get the PFF perk, but my girls are sometimes shy and that might not appeal to them. If they didn't want to meet princesses we would totally do Studio 365. It would save me a fortune! $400 vs $80ish for two girls. I realize that includes dresses, but Yikes! Besides, I like the hair styles better at Studio 365.

D365 doesn't do the tiaras or the Mickey clips. I know you can buy the tiaras in the parks, but I'm not sure about the Mickey clips/barrettes.

As the PP said, they do them at BBB, so that would be the store I would check for them.

For the frozen styles, girls will get A tiara..
At confirmed with the pics and with CM on the phone..

Altho they couldn't tell me if we could switch it out for something else.

I hope this is true! My girls wanted their hair done when we were there in June, but spent every afternoon in the pool. So we said next time...which will be in Dec.
