My goodness you all have been chatty! I am so sad I missed it - not one single email telling me there was a new post (s)!! So here I am thinking it's been a quiet afternoon around here, so I come on just to look around....and what do I find...chatting!!!

Kathy, I didn't know you ordered Tigger Ears! Where did you find them? Can't wait to see the picture (in the grocery store)!

I LOVE it when other people do that stuff and wear T-shirts and hats , esp in the parks, resorts etc...me...waaaaaayyyyy too shy!

Kathy, I am going to get that email to you...started cleaning and doing laundry again and now too tired to think....either later tonight (if not storms) or tomorrow. Beach has been lovely.. thought of all of you. The back of my legs are burned today, but up until now, no burn Found lots of shark's teeth and a few conch shells.

We have cancelled our trip in Sept. More on that later.

Okay, I need pixie dust from all of my pickles. We were able to get free airline tickets to and from Orlando so we can still go to Marco Island; we were able to get a car for $280 which was a heck of a lot cheaper than the $400 we were originally looking at (and I've booked the car to hold the price). Now, I was thinking since we're flying in and out of Orlando that maybe we could go to Disney for a couple of days after all. I forgot that we still have a deposit of $585 from our cancelled trip and I have $175 in Disney Rewards--that would take care of the resort and the tickets for two days (we'd do a "resort" day). The CSR is available on the way in, but not on the way home (Mark would rather do at the tail end of the trip because otherwise we would have to drive back from Marco Island to Orlando to catch our flight and leave at an ungodly hour). We planned on food money anyway for Marco so this wouldn't be a big deal.

So keep your fingers crossed this all works out...I'm waiting to hear back from the TA we always use.

YES!!! There they are! WOOT!!! Had to get a look at em before I left for the airport. Can you say Bag O Hammers?!?! Lights were out at 11:30, laid there until 12:30 or so and woke up at 2:37. WHOA!!! Mark and I have been running into each other for the past hour.

So I am sittin here drinking muh cawfee, doin the DIS. LOL We are headed out to the airport in twenty minutes. Talk to ya'll later ya bunch of sleepyheads.

I'm sure you are probably at the airport by now, but if for some reason you see this, have a safe flight and a MAGICAL time! I must have thought I was supposed to go with you ar something...woke up at 4 am for no reason and can't fall back asleep Anyway.....Have a wonderful, fun, romantic, MAGICAL time!!!

Okay, this brought tears! As I type Tracy and Mark are in the Toronto airport, their flight leaves at 10 a.m. Toronto is the same as our time on the east coast..or better ye,t the same as DISNE TIME!!!

Kelly, so good to hear from you at the beach - sound heavenly, other than the sunburn.

I am sorry to hear you've had to cancel your September trip - but at least it was a surprise so no disappointment for the munchkins. Hoping you'll be telling us it was rescheduled.

Last night was the first night alone in the house and it was not as nerve wracking as other times. I had a plan and think it helped: several weeks ago I stopped watching crime stories on TV (no Law&Order of any kind, no Homicide on the Street etc)...I read an excellent book , so my mind was filled with thoughts about the book and have a new book to begin.

Yesterday I filled the day with housework, and best of all, a very nice phone visit with pickle Janet. and spending time here with my pickle friends. One night down and 4 to go until my BFF arrives.(she is not silly though..if you can imagine me having a BFF who is not silly! )

We can help Kathy with her resort of September and how about me for a possible December trip? Some friends will be there and I keep going back and forth , back and forth...I don't want to be a tag-along on someone Else's vacation and it could be that way in December, so I hesitate. Do not enjoy being at WDW solo...others love it and say they can do anything they want, anytime they want, but I am happy doing whatever, whenever. Solo in a Park just makes me feel sad.

Also, too many memories...after all these trips I still see Toby here when he was 7 and there when he was 8 and there when he 9, 10, 11 and so on...too difficult on this 'ole heart to do it alone. With friends, it's great, not sad at all and never even need to mention it...it's being alone...

I was alone for two days last summer when Tropical Storm Faye required an extra couple of nights. Spent all my day walking back and forth to my room from the food court, seeing all the happy friends and families - went over to MK thinking I'd walk around and left almost in tears. Nope, solo is for moi.

So, pickles, any plans for the weekend?
