Picked up my dress today

My dress has been in the shop since about June this year and I was going to leave it in storage with them until next December, but due to the current economy I decided to pick it up.

I also got my free tiara that I haggled for when I bought the dress and I was shocked. It was marked up at £185 ($260) and I couldn't believe it! It has Swarovski crystals but even so - how much?!

I bought a storage box from The Empty Box Company and it is really good quality. The shop packed the dress in acid-free tissue for me and didn't charge me a storage fee.

The boxes are brilliant - if you are looking for one to store your dress or transport it have a look at them.

Congrats on picking up your dress!! That was my fear too if I left it in the shop what if they close? I'm just paranoid like that though lol!

I haven't got any pictures of me in it, but I feel like a million dollars! It is a Maggie Sottero Capri Royale, or The New Cooker as that is what the money was originally put aside for. Well, what's a girl to do???
