Pick a DVC hotel for 1 night stay, no parks

You’ve all been very helpful! I’m still not sure what I am going to do, but thank you all for giving me so much to think about!

Is anyone at CCV right now and mind sharing what the resort-specific mug situation is in the WL Mercantile? A few other resorts have had some good ones and debating whether I should squeeze in a trip over to browse the new merch! TIA!

SSR or BWV, planty of options for eating. SSR for Disney springs and BWV also close to Swan and dolphin

Rivera, pools and restaurants. Walk to CB. Skyliner to Boardwalk area, plus BC and YC.
What would you recommend doing at CB? Is it a nice resort to walk around? I'm doing something similar over the next few trips which will be without any park days and want to get a good idea of which resorts are worth trying for 1 or 2 nights

AKL fits your needs perfectly! Beautiful resort, 2 awesome pools, The Mara is our favorite for lunch at the pool, and Boma/Jiko/Sanaa offer some of the best resort restaurants on property for you to choose for your dinner. Throw in how peaceful and relaxing it is, and you can't go wrong! And yes, we're biased because it's been our favorite resort for decades - but it also really checks your boxes for a 1-nighter!
Would it be worth doing club level for 1 night? This would be before or after a cruise (if before we would arrive late and leave fairly early, if after we would arrive mid-morning and tend to have an evening flight home). I'm not sure if it would be better to do a couple of nights to take advantage of the offerings - if these are worth the extra points? Also can these be booked at 7 months out? Couldn't be flexible with dates

AKL Club rooms are extremely popular and there are only a few available for DVC points. They are very difficult to get at 11 months, let alone 7 months. That being said, it certainly can't hurt to look at 7 months for a night or 2. We love the AKL Club - food and drink offererings throughout the day, and a nice place to sit and relax for a bit if you wish to. Only you could answer whether it's worth your points - but it might save you on a lunch or dinner that you could get included with the CL.
