PhotoPass?

We are going on our first trip in about a month - me & DS4. banana:. I do plan on taking my Canon Digital camera and bringing it to the park (no water rides planned). Would you recommend pre-purchasing the photopass CD or not? Any thoughts on the photopass system would be great.

I love photopass, and will definitely use it on our WDW trip, b/c I've loved it so much with Disneyland trips!

I was part of a photopass share in September, and felt it would be a value to do it alone, so in December we bought it ourselves through the prepurchase link (http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx if you don't have it).

Check out stitchkingdom.com, b/c there are many WDW pointers for photopass pictures.

I also bring my own camera, but those are for more arty or whatever pictures, not for "let's commemorate the family being here at this pretty spot altogether" shots like I feel photopass is for us.

I would prepurchase the cd. Somehow, even after all the time I spend on this forum, I did not know about photopass until we were at WDW. I wish I would have know previous to our trip so that I could prepay for it and save a little money.

We prepaid the Photopass card for our January vacation. We had 100 photos on our Photopass and when we got home, I edited and added and ended up with nearly 140 photos. What I love about so many of the Photopass photographers is that they took pictures of our son as he approached the characters and those are some of our most favorite photos. In addition to the 140 photos we have on Photopass, we took nearly 500 photos of our own. The other thing I love about Photopass is that we ended up with lots of family pictures, which we would not have had otherwise.

Thats a good point that I forgot about!! We didnt have to worry about finding some random person or CM to stop and take a picture of all of us. Otherwise we would just end up with a bunch of pictures without mommy like usual.

Does the Photopass carry over to the cruise if you are doing a land and sea?
