Can anyone here suggest an online photography school. I have checked out a few, NYIP, Rocky Mountain, Photography School, but I would like to hear some personal experences with them. I check into the local college around here and they only offer classes for 35mm Film cameras. Thanks for any opinions.

Ooh, I'm interested in this as well! I am looking for all sorts of stuff :rotfl: I have dabbled in photography but lurking on here I realize I know nothing! I want to learn more advanced stuff, maybe with the aspiration of someday having a side-business taking portraits. :goodvibes

I was looking for some advanced learning, with the possibility of starting my own business. I think the have completed a school would look good on the resume.

If you are trying to get a job, then the resume helps. If you are out on your own, the clients are going to want to see portfolios, not resumes. In photography, the portfolio is the most important thing. Not that school is a bad thing, but just know that it is not the golden ticket to getting work.
