This Tattoo of Just Breathe belongs to my niece. The number strands in the center represent the Genotypes that when combined create Cystic Fibrosis. My niece, who is sixteen, is afflicted with Cystic Fibrosis, which is a disease which effects the lungs. Please support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation so we can conquer this disease. Remember, JUST BREATHE!!!!!

3 more new ones for me. i think I'm only 3 or 4 letters short to have all 26 letters. I hope to get those letters in the next few weeks.

Pea-n-me

I don't have an attic in my house. Can I use my basement. That is where all my storage and old things go anyway.

Thank you
Arthur

You're going to have to do what I'm doing - borrow an attic. I told my FIL I needed to get up into his. He was like, "For what??" :lmao: (If you remind me next year, I'll do a cellar category just for you.)

I'm sure you'll all appreciate this - I *just missed* a great Mullet today. :headache:

Linda - I know how you feel!!! Everywhere I go now I find things and wish I had my camera with me..!! In fact just today I actually saw a UPS truck - here in Australia..!! Where was I?? At work. And where was the camera?? At home of course! Where all good photography scavenger hunters leave their cameras...!!!! :rotfl: Oh well, it means that I will have to keep my eyes peeled for another one!!!

Shussh, your pictures are lovely.

Thanks! It was a bit scary posting at first as there were so many great photos.

the train has to be a real train.

No problems! I just thought the little train was infinitely more attractive than our grey and grubby commuter trains.

I will accept the photo for battlefield site if you can show some type of plaque that describes event with it, or link.

Thank you. Here are some links.

So much for setting up the Thomas train set :rolleyes1
LOL, I was so tempted to do the same...
I've really enjoyed looking at your photos. Amazing.

At the moment, I am ashamed that I still haven't got a photograph of a kangaroo nor a kookaburra. The one that usually wakes us up every morning is just not showing its face!

Heather, I like the Brisbane photos! You know, there are so many parts of Sydney that I never knew about, took for granted or under-appreciated before this assignment. So thank you to the organizers!

Hobby My other love (besides Disney and photography)...European boardgames!

Celebration of Independence They celebrated the 4th of July at my children's holiday camp! The room was decorated beautifully with all things American including a statue of liberty! However, I wasn't allowed to take a photo of the room as none of the other children can be in my shot. So the ceiling it is. Please let me know if this is acceptable.

Mirror, unusual
Recognise my mirror? I have a potter friend that makes these bowls.....
0706MirrorunusualAJuly06.jpg

And when the bowls don't quite work out in the kiln, she uses the pieces to make these.

Old Things in Attic* - bags that are obsolete, old university notes that should be thrown out and a punching bag that I moved (up) out of the way!
0706OldthingsinAtticJuly06.jpg

I submit proof that there is an attic in my home (note the ANTIQUE in the corner)

p.s. Thanks for the early heads-up on the "basement" item for next year's hunt. Excavation starts tomorrow...

Me Too!

Today, I had a full blown EMERGENCY** that I could see from my office windows. There was (allegedly) a small kitchen fire in one of the city malls in Melbourne (Shushh, it's not our restaurant).
There was a lot of smoke; fire trucks everywhere with LADDERS EXTENDED ON FIRE TRUCKS**; people everywhere because they evacuated about 4 offices nearby, some even QUEUE*ing.....lots of UNIFORMED WORKERS* everywhere.

Made the on-line paper...
http://www.theage.com.au/victoria/b...bourne-central-20100706-zyil.html?autostart=1

And I was stuck in a meeting looking down at it for over an hour. All I could think about was where's my camera (at home) and how can I get out of this meeting!!

Not happy!

I got a few this weekend.
